Karen! Not even sure how to write this. You felt like a member of the family. Made everyone feel so relaxed, things just ran so smoothly. Will highly recommend you to anyone that is looking for someone to marry them. 💥❤️

Making things special but efficient

Amazing Officiant! 10/10 recommend!

When I was searching for an officiant for my small and intimate wedding, I was able to connect with Karen of Nickel City Ceremonies. Karen was great to work with, extremely thorough and quick response time. She asked the right questions, got to know my spouse and I separately and was great in person. She helped make sure the evening went smoothly and we are very grateful for our experience and will continue to recommend her to anyone we know inquiring about ceremonies.

Wonderful ceremony

Karen Richter deserves all the stars

Karen is truly the best officiant we could have ever wanted. From the moment she called to get details about the wedding, to ALL the back and forth emails and questions, to finally making the journey out to our private family cottage on the big day she was such a gem. Karen is lovely.. she was funny, charismatic, knowledgeable and kind. She catered the ceremony to our exact needs and had us in tears. There is nobody else i would ever recommend to have on your big day except for her.

Niin mahtavaa!!

What can we say…Karen was perfect! Perfection. We had a small outdoor ceremony at home that was made so much more special by Karen’s sensitivity, insightfulness and absolute understanding of what we envisioned for our day. We almost chose to have a civil ceremony due to our circumstances and wish to have something small and stress free. We’re so so thankful that we didn’t take that route. We followed our gut and came across Karen. We’re so grateful to have found her. She brought a sweetness, intimacy and at our request, wit and humour to the ceremony. It couldn’t have been better. Everyone loved it! Her communication, enthusiasm and calming effect in the weeks prior to the big moment was exactly what we needed. Thank you a million times for making our humble wedding feel like it was everything we had hoped for and more.

I retired from the working world and, with my love of life and love, still wanted to spend lots of time celebrating life with people. Celebrations in life including births and naming ceremonies, renaming ceremonies, being happily single, weddings, vow renewals, divorce, elder ceremonies, and honoring life are all such wonderful events. I am trained to lead the ceremonies and organize the readings, rituals and participants, and as an Ontario Registered Officiant, legally officiate and solemnize weddings.
