Highly recommend Mary as your marriage commissioner. She truly cares about her clients - she is quick to respond, listens to your requests, and makes sure your ceremony is exactly how you want. She was early, ready, and had her stuff together. She even asked our wedding theme colour and wore an outfit to match! 10/10

Thorough and Professional

Right from the beginning of planning our ceremony, it was obvious that the most important thing to Mary was providing us with exactly what we wanted. She sent us so many options to choose from in terms of ceremony flow, readings, and special additions. We ended up crafting a ceremony that felt so special and personalized to us, and Mary was flexible, responsive and encouraging throughout the whole experience. Not only did we feel like we got to personalize the ceremony, Mary made the effort to get to know us as a couple, so that her portion of the ceremony felt personal as well. She is incredibly responsive to emails, offers helpful advice, and was so organized and professional from the beginning of planning right to the big day. All of our guests praised what a wonderful job she did, and with the ceremony being truly the most important part of our wedding, I am so grateful we chose Mary to officiate!

10/10 - Professional, Dilligent, Friendly!

We chose Mary due to her overwhelmingly positive reviews and we can certainly appreciate how she earned such a reputation. From day 1 communication to the ceremony itself, Mary was professional, diligent and friendly. At no point in the process were we left guessing what to do next - Mary guided us at all steps. Amazing!

It's hard to find the right words to describe how wonderful Mary was and what a big part she played in making our day perfect:) She was SO organized and patient and calming and professional yet funny. Highly recommend!!

Sweet and caring officiant. Highly recommend Mary!

Mary was amazing and we were so grateful that Mary was our marriage officiant. Prompt with all questions and so very helpful throughout the preparation. Mary brought so much warmth and love to the ceremony, we really couldn't have asked for a better ceremony.

Nothing compares!

Mary was and absolute delight to work with. She was easy going, organized and her passion for her job really shines through her work. Hi, Welcome to my Wedding Wire site and thanks for visiting.

I am Mary Zakordonski and I’m a team of one. But don’t let that foul you!

I network and organize our marriage commissioner annual luncheons and get-togethers for St. Albert, Edmonton and surrounding cities. So this team of one, has a real back-up team.

Here’s a little bit about me. Since 2015, I’ve officiated well over 500 weddings any day of the week.

Do you want your ceremony short and sweet, traditional, casual or themed?

I love incorporating different cultural traditions and languages into ceremonies to meet my client’s needs. You may have seen me officiate in a formal black gown or perhaps a themed costume. Adaptability and experience are keys to serving you.

Spare time: biking, hiking, kayaking or baking. Being with friends and family.

Recent courses: Indigenous Studies at U of A, Ukrainian and Metis 101.

I am grateful for life. Grateful for the warm sun and grateful for loving people. Love is definitely not cancelled.
