Grace exceed our expectations at every level. She was truly the best officiant we could ask for. She was professional, helpful throughout the entire ceremony and rehearal process, and such a boss - commanding everyone in the room in the most gracious way.

My husband and I hate being the center of attention, and she made us both feel so comfortable at the ceremony, and during everything leading up to our wedding.

If there was one reason to go with Grace, it's her ability to prep everyone and stage the whole ceremony (without any guests/spectators knowing she's staged it so well).

At the rehearsal, she guided every one to a tee, managing all the different parties with ease, and we all rehearsed the ceremony to a point where everyone knew their role and what do to on the day. Then, on the day, she quietly guided us (when needed) through the steps (without anyone hearing her speak) from a guest perspective. It was staged and acting mastery. I was so impressed and so at ease for the entire wedding ceremony.

What's more: The organizing team at Stanley Park Pavilion (who do hundreds of weddings per year), were so impressed by Grace's organization and guidance, that they've added her to their preferred vendor list.

I recommend Grace at the highest level. She is amazing, and she will nail it for you, like she did for us. A true professional.

I cannot even begin to tell you how amazing Kevin was with officiating our wedding. He was on the ball, respectful and made us laugh. He made sure we were comfortable with the ceremony and allowed us to add our thoughts into the ceremony. He was forgiving when we kept forgetting to send through our thoughts (our minds were all over the place as we had our wedding in such short notice) and was prompt in getting back to us when we had questions. He organized two meetings with us to organize everything and was thorough. I 110% recommend Kevin and will be recommending him to friends and family when they get married!! Thank you Kevin!!

If you want an officiant who will make your guests laugh and cry at just the right time give Kevin a call. We first met him for a coffee at a Tim Hortons, and within moments we could tell just how good of a person he was. During our ceremony he subtly but very effectively orchestrated and directed the ceremony to make sure it went flawlessly. The previous weddings in our families have typically been performed by priests, but despite this change our families were overjoyed with how beautiful and smooth the ceremony went. We would recommend Kevin wholeheartedly to any couples in need of an officiant, he’s someone that we’re hoping to stay in contact with and call a friend.

When it came time to deciding who to pick for our officiant, there was no question. Grace had been the officiant at our best friend's wedding and we absolutely wanted to have her for ours. Covid threw a huge curveball at us and we ended up delaying our wedding by a year to 2021, but throughout out it all, Grace was very supportive, responsive, and on top of things. She has such a bubbly personality and is very quick-witted and funny; it was a blast just meeting up over coffee to go over the details for the big day. Grace used to be a school teacher and it absolutely shows; from gentle reminders to getting our vows submitted on time to the way she commanded the room during the ceremony. Everyone at the wedding gushed over how amazing Grace was and how she led the ceremony. It was heartfelt, with pops of humor interjected throughout. She made the ceremony very personalized to us, making the whole thing very intimate for our friends and family. We absolutely loved it and can't recommend her enough!

When I started planning my wedding almost 2 years ago, there were so many choices for officiants. After reading some reviews through facebook and wedding wire we decided to go with Kevin Fatkin, and we are so happy that we did! From the very start, Kevin was always super responsive to my emails, and when my fiancé and I finally met him in person it was like we were seeing an old friend! He is such a sweet and funny guy, and so easy to talk to--everything you'd want in an officiant! Fast forward a few months and COVID happened--so my fiancé and I decided to redo our wedding plans entirely and have a small park wedding with just some close friends and family. We changed our minds so many times in terms of location, timing, date, etc--even up until literally the night before! But Kevin was so patient and easy going that it never was an issue. Even though we couldn't meet in person we facetimed and emailed leading up to the day, and when the wedding day came I don't think it could have been more perfect! Even with such a small ceremony, it didn't feel like Kevin was a stranger - but just another friend there. He was able to incorporate all the things we wanted into the ceremony, and added some of his own touches too that were great.

Despite all the chaos leading up to it, our wedding ended up being everything we wanted it to be, and we are SO happy we were able to have Kevin as our officiant. Highly recommend!!!

Grace was the highlight of our wedding ceremony - she is professional, a great speaker, thoughtful, adorable and funny! She wrote the most perfect story about my husband and I to start off the ceremony - everyone loved it! Her rate is extremely reasonable and she knows what she is doing! We have been to weddings with very blah/dry Officiants. You can barely hear them, there's no thought or personalization put into what they are saying and they sound like robots. With Grace, you get the complete opposite. We are so happy we chose her and you will be too!

My husband and I can not recommend Grace enough! We hired her for a small backyard ceremony on sept 6th 2020 - it’s been just over a week since our wedding and our family and friends are still talking about how amazing she was, and how personal she made our ceremony! From the first email Grace was responsive, warm, bubbly and outgoing. Grace made such an effort to get to know us as individuals and as a couple - and it definitely showed on our day!
Not only was our ceremony everything we could have imagined, but Grace was incredibly helpful providing us with clear direction for our rehearsal.
Overall she put us at ease, eliminated any stress, went above and beyond helping with all ceremony details (even typed up our vows and put them on laminated cards), and made our ceremony so much fun, and so us!

Grace stepped in for us when our commissioner had to cancel 3 days before our ceremony for our July 2020 wedding. She immediately set up a FaceTime meeting the next night, she got to know us well, she made sure we were taken care of and was very attentive. She asked us many questions about who was coming to the ceremony, a bit about Matt & I, and of course the timeline of the event. Grace made the ceremony script unique to our situation, and added in so many parts we did not even know we would have wanted! Due to COVID-19, we had a very small backyard ceremony, and Grace handled it so very well. She showed up, got to know all the guests, and made sure everyone knew their roles. She was adaptable, fun, and overall an amazing officiant to have for our wedding day. We feel so lucky to have gotten to meet her and have her marry us. Thank you, Grace!
