I had a Covid wedding, where everything was up in the air. Jim worked with us and was really flexible with time, date, and location changing. He is super friendly easy to get along with told us in our first meeting what to expect. (About when to get the marriage license ex)
I 100% recommend Him and his service

We had an excellent experience booking Jim as our wedding officiant. He was very friendly and communicative throughout the months leading up to the wedding and was very flexible when we ended up having to change our date. He did a great job allowing us to customize and have input on the ceremony script and was a pleasure to work with. We would definitely recommend going with Jim. -

Great Service
Jim was very accommodating with the type of service we wanted for our wedding. We asked for the ceremony to be short and sweet as we did not want to keep our elderly family members out in the heat for a long period of time. He delivered top notched service! Kept us informed through the whole process and took care of the paperwork afterwards. We highly recommend Jim as an Officiant to anyone getting married!Happy Together Wedding Ceremonies's reply:

Honestly I was so skeptical and hesitant to find the right Officiant for us.
Jim made the process from start to finish so smooth and easily for us.
As a young couple getting married we wanted someone to showcase who we are and make the ceremony about us which is what Jim exceeded in doing.
You can't go wrong with this choice.

Jim McDonald officied our wedding on May 18th, 2024 in Mississauga, despite we contacted him a couple weeks before the event, he immediately made himself availbale for the date and the time we picked.
He shown up 30 minutes before to arrange and prepare the chapel and the documents
He has been professional and very friendly Wedding Officiant, we felt like we knew since long time and this made us feel a bit less nervous about the ceremony
He shown to be very accomodating to our requests, he came to us with a very nice speech but he let us change some words in it and his way to pronunce the wedding "formula", with his warm and calm voice, was excatly as we wished for.
He came with a complementary wedding playlist which has been perfect to entraitn our guests before, during and after the ceremony.
Highly recommended.

Perfection!
We were married in Sep 2023 and Jim was our officiant.
We cannot say enough about Jim’s kindness, professionalism and open mindedness.
We are a crazy bunch and Jim was so patient with us. He accommodated our request to include Scottish traditions as an homage to my lineage.
He added some delightful touches to the ceremony and even read a Robbie Burns poem with a Scottish accent!
