Beautiful and Flexible

I had a Covid wedding, where everything was up in the air. Jim worked with us and was really flexible with time, date, and location changing. He is super friendly easy to get along with told us in our first meeting what to expect. (About when to get the marriage license ex)
I 100% recommend Him and his service

A beautifully led ceremony!

Jim Mcdonald was a great officiant for our wedding! His communication skills prior and leading up to the day was great! The script he used was easy to follow and had a beautiful message. I would recommend Jim to any one who would like to have a stress free ceremony!

Jim is an amazing officiant! Highly recommend!

I was referred to Jim by a family friend who used him in early 2025 and I found his services outstanding! He was incredibly responsive and thorough in his responses, he provided us with details, forms and questions about the wedding in a timely manner. He sent us the ceremony text for our approval ahead of our wedding and it was absolutely lovely! On the day of the wedding, he came early and ensured that he could pronounce my husband's name properly which speaks volumes to how professional he is! I cannot recommend Jim enough as an officiant, 10/10!!!

Strongly recommend!

My spouse and I were looking for wedding officiants for our small civil ceremony. We came across Humanist Officiant Jim McDonald through WeddingWire. He was very punctual with his responses and has been professional and supportive throughout our encounter including the ceremony. He has very nominal charges for his services, and is flexible with the couples’ requests. His speech and its delivery was excellent, and most of all, he’s a good person in general. Strongly recommend seeking his services for your civil ceremony!!

Jim was a wonderful officiant!

We had Jim officiate our civil wedding in our home this weekend and it was beautiful! He was very professional, patient, and kind. He was very accommodating with what we wanted included in the ceremony and he was kind enough to give us suggestions as well. Would recommend his services for those closest to me. Thank you, Jim!

Amazing experience

We had an excellent experience booking Jim as our wedding officiant. He was very friendly and communicative throughout the months leading up to the wedding and was very flexible when we ended up having to change our date. He did a great job allowing us to customize and have input on the ceremony script and was a pleasure to work with. We would definitely recommend going with Jim.

Great Service

Jim was very accommodating with the type of service we wanted for our wedding. We asked for the ceremony to be short and sweet as we did not want to keep our elderly family members out in the heat for a long period of time. He delivered top notched service! Kept us informed through the whole process and took care of the paperwork afterwards. We highly recommend Jim as an Officiant to anyone getting married!
