Dearly Beloved Ceremonies is a wedding officiant company based in Toronto, Ontario. Owner and celebrant Jo-Ann DaPonte has years of experience as a chaplain, educator, speechwriter, and poet. With her creative spirit and love for love, she customizes each couple's ceremony to match their unique romantic connection.

Services Offered

Dearly Beloved Ceremonies offers multiple wedding packages, depending on how simple or detailed you want your ceremony to be. Jo-Ann is open to travel to venues throughout the Greater Toronto area and South-Central Ontario. She is happy to officiate weddings of various sizes, from intimate elopements to large celebrations. She works with couples from all walks of life and is happy to perform religious, non-religious, and interfaith ceremonies. A custom script, one-on-one meetings, and registration assistance are some of the many services they offer for a relaxed wedding planning experience.

Jo-ann is amazing!

Jo-Ann is absolutely amazing and a pleasure to work with! She made us feel so comfortable during the planning process and up on stage while the nerves were really hitting us. She captured our love story beautifully and ensured to remain in contact with us the entire time to capture any last minute details. Our guests raved about our ceremony and how well it flowed and that's all thanks to Jo-Ann!

Excellent!

Jo-ann was such a breeze! She was professional and felt great connection with her at the same time because of her cheerful personality. She was able to accomodate all
our requests and even made an effort to prepare her outfit to match our ceremony color. Our intimate heartfelt ceremony was made special because of her and we couldn’t ask for more. Defenitely recommend having her as an officiant!

Highly recommend!

We were beyond happy with the ceremony that Jo-Ann prepared. From day one, Jo-Ann showed genuine interest in getting to know us and came up with a wonderful personalized ceremony that checked all our boxes. She went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and comfortable with the ceremony. Her passion was evident every step of the way. Highly recommend!

Incredible!

I can not recommend Jo-Ann enough as an officiant. We received so many compliments on her - she brought so much personality and charm to our ceremony, and is so warm and funloving. When speaking with her, she feels like the type of person you’ve known your whole life, which is exactly what you want out of an officiant. Thank you, Jo-Ann, for making my ceremony so perfect and something I will never forget!

Jo-Ann is a wonderful officiant who we highly recommend.

Due to extenuating circumstances, we reached out to Jo-Ann less than a week before our ceremony and she really came through for us.

Over a Zoom call, and then a rehearsal the day before the wedding, she made us feel at ease as she walked us through the flow of the ceremony.

Her rich experience officiating weddings and her ability to control a room made us feel really confident about having her officiate on our special day.

We could not have asked for more. Thank you.

Short & Sweet

Had a great experience with Jo-Ann. It was short, sweet and still romantic. Jo-Ann was patient and flexible when some on my guest arrived late, she was more than happy to start a little later which we appreciated. Very professional and always willing to guide you through the process.

Professional, accommodating, warm, and funny!

If you want an officiant with a warm and magnetic personality Jo-Anne is for you. She married my wife and I in august and did an exceptional job. She met with us several times, walking us through the entire process. Highly recommend!
