Where do we even start! Shelley is the most thoughtful, kind, caring, intentional wedding celebrant. From our first video meeting with Reverend Shelley we knew she would be the perfect fit for our wedding day. We were unsure early on in the wedding process if we wanted a celebrant, justice of the peace or a friend to officiate our wedding. We are so glad we found Shelley! We trusted her so much we decided to keep our love story a surprise until the ceremony and hear it for the first time with our guests. We are so glad we did!
She is everything we didn’t know we needed and more. We really appreciated her wedding workshops and cannot recommend the Complete Connection enough! She spent time really trying to figure out what type of ceremony we valued, and asked us many questions we would not have even considered without her. She helped us put together a timeline and made sure she thought of everything to make the day of very smooth so we wouldn’t have to worry about anything.
We opted for a non-traditional ceremony and Shelley did an amazing job helping us feel grounded and calm. She is an amazing speaker, and really just an amazing human that makes you feel warm and cared for. She truly values being apart of such a special day which just made it feel extra special for us and really helped calm our nerves.
She arrived early on our wedding day, and visited with each of us to see how we were feeling. She even helped to find our marriage license the morning of as we somehow forgot it buried in a box with the prior evening’s dinner excitement! Thanks for that Shelley! Crisis averted! Upon meeting Shelley you instantly feel calm and grounded. She really helped us feel present for our ceremony, which I will be forever grateful for. I’ll never forget the intention she carved into her words, and the love we felt with sharing our story with our closet friends and family members. It meant so much to have her there with us, helping us feel grounded, calm and present despite the nerves.
The ceremony was something I will never forget. Somehow so uniquely us through Shelley’s hard work and beautiful words. Intentional, emotional, loving, heartfelt, and unique.
Many of our friends and family members kept coming up to us after the ceremony asking how and where we had found Shelley. They all said what an amazing job she did intertwining our love story into our ceremony. How well spoken and calm she was, adding small bits of humor and heartfelt moments we will never forget.

Absolutely magical!
We cannot say enough wonderful things about our officiant! From the very beginning, she made us feel so comfortable, heard, and truly cared for. Our ceremony was perfect in every way, and she made the entire experience feel so incredibly personal and magical.
She took the time to learn our love story and incorporated so many beautiful, thoughtful details that made the ceremony feel uniquely us. You could feel the love and intention she put into every word, and there were so many little touches that we will cherish forever.
What meant the most to us was all the extra effort she put into making our special day so memorable. She went above and beyond, and it truly did not go unnoticed. She helped create a ceremony that was not only beautiful, but deeply meaningful and filled with so much love. Even after the ceremony all of our guests complimented on how beautiful and special it was.
We are beyond grateful that she was the person who got to tell our story and marry us. We cannot thank her enough for everything she did to make our day so perfect. We had the absolute pleasure of having Shelley officiate our wedding, and we truly could not imagine anyone better for the role. From the very beginning, she was warm, professional, and so genuinely invested in making our ceremony meaningful and personal. She has this vibrant energy that puts you at ease right away, while also being incredibly organized and thoughtful.
One thing we especially appreciated was her attention to detail. Shelley didn’t just help us plan the ceremony — she helped us think through moments and logistics for the rest of the day, too, which made such a difference. She walked us through everything clearly, offered guidance we didn’t even know we needed, and made sure we felt confident and supported heading into our wedding day.
On the day itself, Shelley went above and beyond. She checked in with us throughout the morning, made sure we were feeling grounded and present, and helped calm those pre-ceremony nerves in the most genuine and caring way. It meant so much to have her there not only as an officiant, but as someone truly rooting for us.
The ceremony she created was perfect — heartfelt, personal, emotional, and very “us.” It felt so intentional and authentic, and we had so many guests tell us afterward how beautiful and unique it was.

Shelley is truly an incredible officiant. I found Shelley on Wedding Wire when I was desperate searching for an officiant a couple months prior to the wedding. We planned our Comox Valley wedding from Ontario so we didn't have the chance to meet anyone in person prior to the date. This made me a little bit stressed on how everything would go with selecting an officiant. Having Shelley be a part of this process made everything so easy and thought out. She really is amazing with words and wrote the most beautiful, thoughtful, and personal ceremony for us. She was able to meet with us over zoom a couple times leading up to the wedding and these meetings gave us a sense of peace on how the ceremony would run on wedding day. Highly recommend!
Rev. Shelley Grant exceeded our expectations as our officiant. Her peaceful presence combined with her organized approach was simply invaluable. We were honoured to have her apart of our special day. She was quick and helpful with questions we had along the way, proactive in the preparation bringing up important items to address that we hadn’t thought of, she ran the rehearsal like a boss, and we felt like family on the day of. Rev Shelley exceeded any and all expectations we had for our ceremony. Right from the beginning she was so kind and passionate about making our day the best day possible. She truly captured our love story better than we ever thought possible. Every single attendee raved about the ceremony and how it was the best ceremony they had ever attended. Shelley not only captured our love story beautifully but also wove in our Celtic and Ukrainian backgrounds through hand fastening and the rushnyk. She took the time to research about the rushnyk and its purpose as a ceremonial tradition from Ukrainian culture. We cannot thank her enough for making our ceremony as breathtaking as it was.
