Yours Truly began in 2014 as a labour of love and passion for live music. After having played together for many years, co-founders Kevin, Kirkland and Matthew shared and acted upon a common vision—to create and provide unforgettable musical experiences that truly bring people together. Since its inception, Yours Truly has rapidly grown in size and demand. With many instrumentalists and vocalists now a part of their family, they are proud to be one of the most flexible and diverse collectives of professional musicians in the industry.

Fantastic in every respect.

Yours Truly was a very big part of a great party. Kevin and his gang gave us confidence from the start. We were a little concerned everyone would dance - we needn't have been. The boys got everyone really rocking and all went home with huge smiles.

Thankful Bride

Yours Truly brought the most special song to life for my Dad and I to walk down the aisle on my wedding day! They put me at ease when I didn’t know the first thing about sound equipment and communicated with my venue for me when I needed them to. They were early, set up, and ready to go handling all complications without me being aware that there was any. We also had our cousins sing a couple of worship songs during our wedding ceremony, and yours truly jumped right in to accompany the music with a little background cello, which really brought it all to life. They were professional, easy to work with, and did such a beautiful job playing at our ceremony!

Great experience!

Yours Truly played at our wedding (October 2021) and they were Amazing! We found them online and after watching some of their videos we knew we wanted them to play during our cocktail hour and for dancing. Kevin was very responsive during the planning period and worked with us for all details. During and after the wedding we received TONS of positive feedback from all guests on how amazing the band sounded and performed. Would highly recommend Yours Truly for any event!

Professional and talented

Me and my wife hired Yours Truly for our wedding. We had strings at the ceremony and a band at the cocktail hour and reception. The coordination from the musicians was impeccable. From set-up to take-down they were professional and knew how to get everyone dancing. As per our requests, they learned and played all of them in a small timeframe (about 2 weeks) which i was very impressed about. The organization and planning pre-wedding day was amazing, Kevin really wanted the best for our night.

We highly recommend Yours Truly to anyone looking for live music that will be professional, fun, and memorable. Overall, Yours Truly rocked our night and they will be first on our list for future events.

Amazing band - the perfect touch to my wedding!

Yours Truly was amazing - they met with us first to discuss what type of songs we wanted. We were a little unsure what we wanted but they gave us some suggestions and made the process really easy. They’re outstanding musicians and made our wedding day so special, not to mention our guests all loved their music. I would definitely recommend Yours Turly to anyone!

Co-Owner

Over the last few years, I have strived to develop myself as a professional musician on the Toronto music scene. As a classically trained professional cellist, I've had the privelege to work with and learn from some of the best musicians and educators in the country. Having received my Masters degree in Cello Performance from UofT, I believe I have the knowledge and experience needed in order to prepare and execute any performance... As for my experience regarding weddings, I've been playing wedding ceremonies and cocktails since I was 11, and I haven't stopped since.

Along with playing the cello, my other passion is for the drums. With over 11 years of experience playing drums, I've loved the new opportunities it's given me. Drums is a whole different animal compared to cello, and I love that I get to experience and live in both those musical worlds.

In my spare time, I love acting out on my Canadian instincts by watching and playing hockey.
