  Grand Opening Event

  Uptown Stings was great to work with! They were very professional and very easy to work with. They always responded quickly and very kindly. The music played at our event was exactly what we were looking for! Definitely would recommend and hire them again in the future!

  Wedding Ceremony & Cocktail Hour

  We booked a violin/guitar duo for our son's outdoor wedding ceremony and cocktail hour in Calgary. Darcy was extremely easy to deal with and they learned a new song for us for the ceremony which was very appreciated! Uptown Strings was a unique and lovely addition to the day!

  Everything you need and more!

  We were so fortunate to have Darcy on our wedding day. The team was responsive, answered all questions, and flexible. We had a violinist for our elopement and it was the best choice!! They provided all our song choices and wanted to make it matches our vision perfectly. I can not recommend them enough for your special day!!

  Added such a magical touch

  Darcy was so amazing and easy to communicate with during the whole process. He was very responsive and accommodating. He played during our ceremony and cocktail hour and it really made our day, that much more special! I highly recommend him :)

  They made our day magical!

  Darcy is fantastic to work with! He is incredibly responsive and made the experience of booking and planning the string trio seamless. On the day of the trio made our day feel so magical. Having the live music felt like an absolute fairytale. The team was very kind and did a fabulous job. It was a dream! All of our guests couldn’t stop talking about how much they loved the live music before and during the ceremony. Thank you so much Uptown Strings!

  Wonderful Experience for our wedding

  We searched several vendors and decided on Uptown Strings based on reviews and chats. Their communication throughout was timely and they readily accepted our request for some new songs that had special meaning to us. On the day they were flexible and accomodating despite a few last minute hicups from the venue. Overall a magical experience that we will remember for a lifetime.

  Darcy and his team were fantastic to work with. He was very responsive and provided a dedicated portal to discuss song requests and changes.
  
  On the day of our wedding, Darcy and his team played beautiful string arrangements that really elevated our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. They also transitioned between songs seamlessly during the procession. Our guests were very impressed as they don't see string trios very often at weddings and it was very memorable.
  
  I highly recommend Darcy and his team as they are professional and highly talented!

  Awesome experience

  Darcy and the Uptown Strings team were wonderful to work with. We hired them to play while our guests enjoyed cocktail hour and they were a big hit. They were very accommodating to whatever we asked for and so friendly. Can't recommend them enough!

  We were incredibly impressed! We had overwhelming positive feedback while using this service for the happy hour portion of our daughter’s wedding reception. Professional and very entertaining. It was a perfect addition to our evening. Highly recommended!
