Occasional Notes Productions specializes in WEDDING RECEPTIONS! We want to party and celebrate with you and your guests! parents, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, friends and children will be completely entertained. We want everyone on the dance floor to reminisce with the best music from the decades.

The Decade Experience presents throwback performances featuring music from the ’60s to the ’90s. Get ready for a colorful, high-energy, vibrant extravaganza! Great for all ages! As you reminisce through the decades, you will be on your feet all night. The Eagles, Britney Spears, ABBA, Spice Girls, Jersy Boys, BackStreet Boys,.. the best nonstop hits from the decades will be the party of your lifetime on the most important day ever!

The Decade Experience and DJ!

We can also add our DJ for a blend of The Decade Experience! one hour show followed by our DJ with a custom playlist made just for you! More cost-efficient but just as much fun!

    From the time that we got engaged, we knew that we wanted Occasional Notes to play at our wedding. We had seen them perform at various events in the past and were blown away by their talent. We had booked Barb and Laurie approximately a year in advanced and every few months, they got in contact with us to see how we were doing and bounce ideas back and forth with us. They even provided us recommendations for other venues that we ended up using. The planning of our ceremony was a lot of fun. We met at the Occasional Notes studio where Barb and Laurie had already prepared many song choices that suited our personalities and music taste. We were able to identify exactly what we wanted in no time. Our ceremony would not have been the same without Occasional Notes. What a difference live music makes!! We had so many compliments from our guests and everyone had so much fun watching the Bride walk down to "I Can See The Light" at our Disney inspired wedding.

    Laurie and Barb were such a pleasure to work with. Their expertise and passion shine through with everything they do. They had excellent recommendations for music, even for parts of the day they weren't playing for. Having them play for our ceremony added exactly the right touch and made the day that much more special. We had multiple guests approach us and tell us how much they loved the piano playing as well. I would recommend Occassional Notes to anyone!

    Occasional notes made our wedding day one to remember! It was very unique and special to have the piano's and the pianists were very professional and knew exactly what we were looking to have for our ceremony.

    Occasional notes made my wedding ceremony have such a beautiful glowing feel to it. When I heard the music playing before I made my entrance, I had to tell myself not to cry. The music is what gave me that moment or that thought in my mind that said... this is it. I dont think my wedding would have been as great without Laurie and Barb.

    Occasional Notes performed at our son's wedding in January on a very cold day. Their music warmed our hearts. The moment that we walked in the doors of the church, we were surrounded by sweet song. Laurie and Barb helped guide us in choosing the music for each moment of the ceremony. They even played our wedding song - from 32 years ago. I would recommend Occasional Notes for your son or daughter's wedding whole heartedly.

    Occasional Notes performed at our wedding on January 8th. It was a cold wintery day but we were warmed as soon as we entered the cathedral by the sounds of Bach,Bizet and Puccini.They planned every moment of music for us. The wedding party was a little late arriving to the church - but the music just played on and on. I would highly recommend Occasional Notes for your wedding ceremony!
