We did not have a good experience with Justin during the planning process for our wedding. The communication was poor and he was rude many times via email. We had requested a meeting 7 weeks in advance of our wedding, had to follow a few times to schedule that meeting. Justin chose the date and time. 2 weeks out from our wedding and 1 week out from our scheduled meeting he emailed us to cancel and reschedule, which for us was stressful as we travel for work and have many things to do two weeks out from our DIY wedding. We responded to the email within 5 minutes and then heard nothing until two days later. We had sent another email in between asking to try and find a rescheduled date. The email we received two days later told us that we should not expect a response from him quickly and that he will focus on us on our wedding day. We requested he call us to try and find a rescheduled time and he refused, would only dialogue via email, which was frustrating as we were trying to rearrange our schedules to find another date to meet. So we rearranged our schedule to find a time and at this point Justin refused to meet in person. A few hours before the scheduled time he asked again to move the time, which we could not accommodate due to our work schedule. He did not send a meeting invite, nor a link to Skype (we had requested that). He tried calling on a skype account that we don't have linked devices to, that is why we had asked for a link the day before. He asked us if 40 minutes was enough time, and we responded we were relying on his experience. He accused us that we should be offering to pay for these meetings, while he had accepted that meeting many weeks prior without asking for compensation. We were very frustrated at this point as it appeared he hadn't prepared nor was committed to giving us the confidence the details we wanted for music that day would happen. He was rude via email. Ultimately we terminated the contract, which he made us pay full price and would not recognize his behaviour was a contributor to relationship breakdown. The quick email response while finalizing the termination was not like what we had experienced while trying to get information from him for planning our.(ie when it comes to payment he responds very quickly). We can not comment on his ability as a DJ nor musician but only on the planning process was frustrating and difficult.Music Music's reply:

I have never had so much trouble making a customer happy as was in your case.
Most of your messages to me came through on weekends. Expecting an event vendor to reply quickly during event days, is just unrealistic.
I told you many times that the events that are happening in the now and the immediate future, get the focus and attention. Just as you would expect for your event.
When you reached out for a meeting, I told you immediately that you were asking for time during a very busy spell in my profession. I offered to accommodate via phone and video chat, but that wasn't good enough for you. So, I did what I could and carved out some time for you. Despite the fact that you never mentioned that you would want a face to face meeting right before the wedding. If you had done so a bit further away from your wedding date, I would have set us a date long in advance.
When I booked a short notice gig on the date we had set, you blasted me for booking it prior to talking to you about moving our meeting. You spoke to me like you were my Wife or my Mother, and your tone was unacceptable. That very quickly became a common occurrence in our final transactions.
I moved some stuff around to meet with you, in person, on the following day instead. That didn't work for you, so we agreed on a Video chat on the Tues.
Despite Tuesdays being my only day off, I readied myself to Skype with you for 5pm. Prior to this, I connected us on Skype using the information you provided in your email.
10 mins of attempts to connect with you on Skype went unanswered. When I texted you to let you know I couldn't get a hold of you, you said "you SHOULD be creating a meeting and sending it through email."
I took another breath, reminding myself that stress levels can get quite high as a wedding day gets close, and I should just let it roll off my back.
Then when I sent you an invite to a chat via your email, you called me unprofessional. And then continued to do so another handful of times.
You continued to berate me as your unrealistic demands were refused to be met, and then decided you wanted to terminate the contract you signed, 2 weeks before your wedding.
I reiterated that I was fully intending to fulfill my contractual obligations, whilst begrudgingly, at your wedding on October 7th at the agreed upon time. Because, despite your numerous accusations, I am quite professional.
I also offered to send one of my DJs in my place to avoid any discomfort.
I notified you that if you wished to cancel my services, the contract we signed states that payment in full is required within 30 days of the event.
You found that totally unacceptable and tried to offer me a 3rd of the remaining amount and said that it was my fault that you wanted to cancel.
I have never had an interaction in over 20+ years of servicing wedding clients as negative as ours.
I hope you eventually got what you were looking for your day.

Justin was amazing from our first email sent to him until last call at our wedding. He MC'd, DJ'd annnndd played acoustic/SANG! A man of many talents! He had guests belly laughing as an MC, he knows how to read the room and can make it sound like he's known you for years. The dancefloor was NEVER empty, I can't say enough good things. We didn't have to worry about anything with him. I would 100000000% recommend him. I'm so happy we stumbled across him and that he was a huge part of our day. THANK YOU JUSTIN!Music Music's reply:

Magical Music Moments
When planning our wedding, we always knew music was going to be an important part of our day. Justin helped us create so many special music moments on our wedding day, including one of my favourite moments - our first dance under the stars with our song being played acoustically. Perfection! He was always available to answer our questions and made it all so easy!Music Music's reply:

We were married in June 2022 and engaged in 2020. Booking Justin for our music was literally the first vendor I contacted and paid a deposit for!
For the ceremony, he was the first to arrive with all of his own equipment and was playing while our guests arrived. I loved that he was able to sing and play acoustic guitar for our ceremony. Every song that I had in mind, he played, and it was perfect!
By request he sang during the cocktail hour and was our MC as well. His energy, song choices, voice and playing ability are top notch and we were so happy that this was the way our evening began.
During the reception, Justin put on 'dinner music' that was great for when we were eating. He was able to provide us with cordless microphones for a couple of speeches- which was nice to not have to source! But, for me, and I believe most of our guests, the MOST memorable thing about Justin that night was the fact that my husband and I picked about 6 slow songs for Justin to sing and play live, mixed throughout the night of dancing. Everyone was on the dance floor, and everyone was commenting on his voice and how nice it was to slow dance to LIVE music- that was so good! My husband and I ended our night once most of our guests had left with one last slow song sang by Justin just for us- which I'll never forget.
I can't stress enough how important GREAT music is for the entire vibe of the wedding! Justin's friendliness, professionalism, and laid-back attitude was amazing to work with. He was easy going to work with and filling out his planning sheet for songs really helped us plan everything. Having a DJ who can MC and play live music?! You will not be disappointed with Justin!Music Music's reply:

Justin recently played at our ceremony and cocktail hour, as well as DJ'd our reception. Live music at the ceremony and cocktail hour made for a nice atmosphere, and all of our guests raved about how amazing he was. As a DJ, Justin read the room well and knew when to start the party, or slow it down. I would highly recommend Justin for anyone looking for live music or a DJ at their wedding!Music Music's reply:
