Experience

After receiving his undergraduate degree in World Religions from Concordia University in Montreal, James moved to India to get his Master's Degree in Instrumental Music from Rabindra Bharati University in Calcutta. In 1986, he gained a PhD in Social Anthropology (Ethnomusicology) from Queen's University, Belfast. He has a book in print and also has contributed reviews for the Georgia Strait and other publications.
