Incredible Violin and Cello Duet
Ensemble Cascade was one of the first vendors we booked for our wedding. After finalizing our wedding date and venue, we began searching for wedding musicians in Banff and came across Ensemble Cascade. Upon connecting with Ronelle and listening to their repertoire, we knew they were the one! Ronelle's attention to detail and genuine care for our vision truly set them apart.
The ensemble added a special touch that perfectly complemented our church ceremony. From the moment guests arrived to the final notes of our recessional, they captivated everyone with their talent and professionalism. We are incredibly grateful to have had them be part of our big day and highly recommend them to couples looking for exceptional wedding musicians in the Banff area. They truly made our wedding ceremony magical.

Beautiful Addition to Banff Wedding
Ensemble Cascade did a truly outstanding job with our wedding. I picked them because they had experience with both classical & Irish string music. Not only are they incredible musicians (I cried when we had our preview together it was so beautiful!), they also collaborated with us so patiently during the wedding planning process. I had a specific vision in my mind for the ceremony music and Ronelle patiently collaborated with me every step of the way. The result was pure magic and more than anything I could have hoped for. They are absolutely incredible musicians. If you're looking for live music, don't hesitate to book!

Amazing touch to our wedding
When I inquired with Ensemble Cascade for our wedding date, Ronelle let me know her husband that she normally performs with would be out of town, but her brother also plays the cello and could be available. First of all, how awesome is that!! Such a talented family.
Working with Ronelle and her brother Graham was such a pleasure. Ronelle was quick in communicating everything we needed to know, so friendly, and her and Graham went the extra mile to learn a couple of songs for us. I can’t wait to get our video from the ceremony back because I want to be able to relive it all as it went by too quickly.
They were so professional, reliable, and incredibly talented. 10/10 I would highly recommend for any wedding music needs. It was the perfect touch to make our intimate wedding feel so special.

Absolutely incredible!
We hired Ronelle & Nigel for our August 2021 wedding ceremony and they were an absolute dream to work with. They were extremely fast in responding to emails, their recommendations for the playlist were perfect, and were accommodating in playing songs not in their repertoire. For my procession I had dreamt of a song that was strictly piano, and their rendition with a cello/violin duet was perfect. Their music made our wedding ceremony, I couldn't have been happier. If you are on the fence about including live music in your wedding ceremony, use this review as a sign that it is exactly what you need and Ronelle and Nigel will absolutely deliver!

Violin & Cello at wedding
Ensemble Cascade played at our wedding with a violin and cello and did a great job. They were super easy to work with during the planning stages and then did a wonderful job at our wedding, highly recommend to add a touch of class to your event!

Ensemble Cascade were the perfect choice for us when it came to choosing our ceremony music. They were quick to respond to us prior to the wedding via email and even chatted on the phone with my husband to go through music suggestions for our ceremony. We were very happy with choosing them for our ceremony. Ensemble Cascade made our ceremony even more special and we got a lot of compliments from our guests on our choice of the string duo for our ceremony!
