A New Ground

The music was beautiful and perfectly fit the folksy vibe of our wedding. Multiple guests came up to us and commented how great the musicians were. They accommodated all of our song requests for the ceremony and played music during cocktail hour too. Would definitely recommend hiring them for your wedding music!

Ryan and Clarissa played at our outdoor, lakeside, wedding in Puslinch, ON on Aug 6, 2017. We cannot say enough about the amazing job they did! They played an incredible variety of music (both instrumental and vocal) while the guests were arriving. Our guests RAVED about how beautiful and talented they are!! We asked them to play a processional song, as well as a song during the signing of the register..neither of which they had ever heard before...and they learned them practically overnight, and played them SO WELL!! If you are looking for an amazing band, and beautiful souls, to play at your wedding, call A New Ground Band! You will NOT be disappointed!

When we brought them on to perform at our wedding, we made it clear that we would be asking a lot of them; they would have to learn obscure and difficult pieces from numerous genres that would require varied instrumentation. They would be performing throughout the ceremony and later as entertainment.

We expected a little trepidation, given how much we were asking of them, so we were absolutely blown away by how enthusiastically our ideas were embraced. Their enthusiasm was infectious and their confidence and professionalism allowed us to leave the music in their hands, worry free!
