I hired Satine's Studio for getting my bridal party prepared for an early start for our wedding day. Satine was very flexible in her timing and was prepared to get everyone ready. Though some minor delays happened throughout the day, the ladies came out looking amazing and ready to take on a busy day. -

I cannot express enough how grateful I am for Satine’s exceptional skills and artistry. From the moment I met her, I knew I was in the hands of a true professional. She did both my hair and makeup for my engagement photoshoot as well as my wedding.
Satine not only made me look absolutely stunning, but she also took the time to listen to my ideas and understand the vision I had for my engagement shoot. Her attention to detail and ability to bring my vision to life surpassed all my expectations. She carefully crafted a flawless look that accentuated my features and perfectly complemented my chosen outfit. Her ability to create a natural yet glamorous look was truly remarkable.
What impressed me the most was her genuine passion for her craft. She took the time to explain each step of the process, making me feel comfortable and confident in her abilities. Her warm and friendly personality instantly put me at ease, creating a relaxed and enjoyable experience.
I was a little picky during my wedding day but she did an amazing job making sure everything was to my liking and everything lasted all night! She also gave me a mini touch up kit that was so helpful for the rest of the day and at the end of the night. :) Also, she had a team of 3 she brought for my bridesmaids and mothers makeup and hair and everyone loved what they did as well! -

I will allow the pictures to speak for themselves with regards to Satine’s exceptional make up skills. Her attention to detail was second to none, meticulously crafting a stunning look that was perfectly tailored to my wedding theme. My makeup was flawless and my hair beautiful. In addition to being a talented makeup artist and hair stylist, I want to highlight two things that set Satine apart:
Listening - From the moment we connected at my make up trial, it was evident that we were in the hands of a true professional. Her warm demeanour and attentive approach immediately put me at ease, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience throughout the entire process. Moreover, Satine exceeded at improving on the feedback I provided and really listened to me. There were several things I wanted changed for my wedding day, from the colour of the eye shadow to the volume of hair. The end product was stunning.
Experience - Satine’s presence on our wedding day was an absolute delight. Her team was organized and on time, adapting to different skin tones and hair types. I had a dress and hair change during the wedding. I was blown away by Satine’s initiative. Each time I took a rest, Satine was there to touch up my makeup and refresh my lipstick - I never had to ask and I really appreciated as a bride with many other things on my mind that Satine was there to support me. Furthermore, when it came to the dress and hair change, Satine was awesome! She was quick, efficient and attentive to detail. Small things like having a cape to avoid makeup on the dress, knowing the order in which to drink/eat, and being able to create a final updo that could be transformed into a half up/half down later on - these are the pearls of wisdom that I have never encountered previously in a wedding make up artist.
Without hesitation, I wholeheartedly recommend this exceptional makeup artist to anyone seeking a professional, experienced, and extraordinary artist for their wedding or any special occasion. Their dedication, talent, and ability to create truly breathtaking appearances are unmatched.

Absolute magician with makeup. I normally don’t wear makeup so it was lovely having a professional like Satine work on a look that was optimized for the cameras. About a month before the wedding you’ll have a consultation with her about the makeup style you’re looking for and hair. By then she was able to tell me what my to-dos were (I needed to get a cut and highlights to have the hair pattern show). The day of session with her is about 2.5 hours and it really takes that long as she carefully puts on every layer of makeup meticulously. Really loved my look for the day and if you’re not going through super hot months, you won’t need a separate touch up session in the evening. -

Authentic and natural bridal make up!
Satine did an absolutely amazing job for my hair and make-up, for both my traditional Chinese costume and my wedding gown! I had requested some modifications after the trial make-up I had with her two weeks prior to the wedding, and she knew exactly what I wanted. Everyone said I looked so beautiful and stunning - thank you so much Satine! She also came to do my hair the following day for my mini wedding banquet, and the hair-do matched my dress really well :)
Her two associates also helped my mom, mom-in-law, and maid of honor with both hair and make up! They did an excellent job too. -

I had several recommendations from friends for my makeup artist, but was not satisfied with the portfolio I’ve seen. Hence, I searched via weddingwire and found Satine. The make up she did was the closest to what I wanted for the wedding, not too heavy and soft make up. It was excellent. I quickly booked her without doing trial. Well, also because I wasn’t in the country. But i was confident enough that she will be perfect for my day. So, as I travelled back to the country, I quickly made reservation with her to do basically our final trial before the big day. I had sent some pictures of the hairstyle and makeup style that I like and she was able to deliver it perfectly' with a bit more extra hint of her own style, which, I loved it!
the makeup products she used were very good as well, as my skins get irritation easily, it was perfectly fine the next day even after having the full makeup on the day before. It didn’t wear out much also, as I was photoshooting under the light rain and with a bit of crying during the ceremony. Everything stays the way they are. I’m glad I trusted my instinct and found Satine to be my big day make up artist. Thank you so much for beautifying me on my special day! -

Satine did a fantastic job with makeup for our family. She was quick to respond to emails, flexible, arrived early the day of the wedding and is very skilled and knowledgeable with makeup. Amazing bridal hair and make up that lasted all day. I had a large and very diverse wedding party, and Satine's team did a beautiful job on all of them. In addition, Satine is on time, easy to work with, friendly, and very trustworthy. If you want beautiful hair and make up that still looks natural and not overdone in photos, go with Satine.
