Hi hired Izzie to do my wedding make-up along with my bridesmaids. First of all, she doesn’t just slap some make up on your face, she really believes in prepping the skin properly which makes the world of the difference. Not only does she prep, but she continues to apply setting sprays and holding sprays and honestly I lost count of what other kind of sprays. The end result; it doesn’t even feel like you’re wearing make-up! Your skin is glowing, looks and feels dewy and I can attest to it staying put on a 30 degree day out in the sun and hiking to some photo shoot spots plus dancing all night long. It did not budge. For a small extra cost you can get a little touch up bag with your lipstick, setting powder, eyelash glue, and much more that came in handy but honestly I barely had to use. She’s also super kind and her and her mom work as a great team as her mom preps everyone faces and Izzie is truly the artist. They both made the whole morning fun and engaging and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience :) highly recommend!Pretty Canvas Makeup's reply:

Izzy did makeup for my wedding for myself and my bridesmaids. We were all super happy with how the makeup turned out, and it looked great for photos! It lasted all day (in the hot sun) and she really captured the look i was going for. As someone who is typically quite particular about my makeup, I was worried about getting it done professionally at first- but I am so glad i did! She was also very kind and open to adjustments and just really put me and my bridesmaids at ease. Would definitely recommend!!Pretty Canvas Makeup's reply:

Isabella is incredible. I have only had my makeup done a couple of times in my life and it never really worked out the way I had hoped. Pretty Canvas makeup changed that for me. She did the most amazing makeup for me and my bridal party ranging from ages 17-70 and she managed to do makeup to make everyone feel like themselves, but elevated. I felt the most gorgeous I have EVER FELT for my wedding day and would highly recommend her to anyone that needs makeup for a special occasion. She is a lovely young woman that is very professional and HIGHLY organized and communicative. Izzie is an incredible makeup artist and so affordable. The the level of quality and service you get, you'd expect to pay twice as much, if not more. From the moment I booked, she was always responsive to my questions. My wedding trial took 2.5 hours because I kept asking to go darker but then I realized I should have not - she was so patient with me as I was so indecisive! On my wedding day it was sooooo perfect! I had my makeup done as a bridesmaid a few times but this was so much better. My bridesmaids all felt the same. She is incredibly kind, patient, and talented. I can't tell you how thrilled I was to find Izzie! I have olive skin, and my bridesmaids come from a variety of ethnicities, so a couple were worried about whether she could match their skin tones perfectly. But she nailed every single one and applied the most incredible makeup. We all LOVED our looks, and she finished all of us 20 minutes ahead of schedule. Her attention to detail is truly unmatched. Three of my bridesmaids, who had been married and hired makeup artists for their own weddings, said they loved their makeup even more than at their own weddings.
On top of that, she’s genuinely sweet and caring. Do not hesitate to book her, but book fast if you need a Saturday. -

Anna Sent on 14/03/2026Amazing Makeup Artist! (And Tips for Brides)
Izzie was the most amazing MUA I could have asked for. Besides being super sweet, warm, and organized, she delivered the most amazing makeup. My makeup was perfect and all my bridesmaids and mother LOVED their makeup so much. It was a stressful morning as a couple of my bridesmaids turned up late but Izzie quickly rearranged and got everyone done on time. I had got quotes from two other MUAs but besides being reasonably priced, she was the most responsive to my initial inquiry and from there was always so quick to reply to my questions.
I almost booked another MUA on wedding wire as they had so many great reviews and decent prices but in asking some questions I discovered they were actually Vancouver-based and the person I was talking to was the owner, not the MUA who would be my MUA on the day of my wedding. If I can offer a tip to anyone make sure you inquire if the MUA getting back to you is the one that is actually going to be there for your day and not just contracting out the work to local MUA.
In any case, if you want an amazing MUA who is also sweet, kind, and organized, I can't recommend Izzie with Pretty Canvas Makeup more highly.Pretty Canvas Makeup's reply:

Isabela was such a joy to work with and did the most amazing makeup for me and my bridesmaids. Everyone was in awe of her work and got tons of compliments, including my Aunt who is a MUA in California and teaches master classes.
She was finished 15 minutes ahead of her scheduled time and was so organized. You will not be disappointed in choosing Pretty Canvas MakeupPretty Canvas Makeup's reply:

Truly gifted MUA
I cannot recommend Izzy enough! From the moment I booked her to the day off my wedding, she was always communicative. She did the most perfect makeup for me and my bridesmaids. None of us had never looked more beautiful. We all got so many compliments and the makeup lasted all night through sweat and tears. She was also kind and sweet with a touch of humour to lighten the morning nerves. Her pricing is also very affordable.Pretty Canvas Makeup's reply:
