I was originally referred to a VERY expensive Okanagan makeup artist and because I needed engagement photos decided to use her for that first. I wasn’t in love with my makeup. I saw Isabella on a Facebook and loved her portfolio as very diverse and decided to try her. I LOVED my makeup sooooo much. She nailed it and did an amazing job for me and all my bridesmaids and my mom.

My mom cried in happy tears when she saw her makeup. Isabella is a true professional and such a kind sweet person. She was organized and had everyone done on time.

I think sometimes we assume expensive is always better, but lesson learned for me. Maybe because she’s a traditional artist as well gives her an edge but she’s truly gifted.

Izzie was the most amazing MUA I could have asked for. Besides being super sweet, warm, and organized, she delivered the most amazing makeup. My makeup was perfect and all my bridesmaids and mother LOVED their makeup so much. It was a stressful morning as a couple of my bridesmaids turned up late but Izzie quickly rearranged and got everyone done on time. I had got quotes from two other MUAs but besides being reasonably priced, she was the most responsive to my initial inquiry and from there was always so quick to reply to my questions.

I almost booked another MUA on wedding wire as they had so many great reviews and decent prices but in asking some questions I discovered they were actually Vancouver-based and the person I was talking to was the owner, not the MUA who would be my MUA on the day of my wedding. If I can offer a tip to anyone make sure you inquire if the MUA getting back to you is the one that is actually going to be there for your day and not just contracting out the work to local MUA.

In any case, if you want an amazing MUA who is also sweet, kind, and organized, I can't recommend Izzie with Pretty Canvas Makeup more highly.

I cannot recommend Izzy enough! From the moment I booked her to the day off my wedding, she was always communicative. She did the most perfect makeup for me and my bridesmaids. None of us had never looked more beautiful. We all got so many compliments and the makeup lasted all night through sweat and tears. She was also kind and sweet with a touch of humour to lighten the morning nerves. Her pricing is also very affordable.

I have had my makeup done for 3 weddings and no artist has ever made me look so amazing. I have very patchy eyebrows and she made them perfect. I could not recommend her more.

I had a makeup artist booked a year in advance, did trial and everything and paid deposit. I was informed three weeks before my November wedding she couldn’t do due an upcoming medical surgery. I panicked but was referred to Izzie. Thankfully Izzie was available.

Honestly besides the fact her prices better, I loved my trial makeup so much more than original artist. What seemed like an awful turn of events worked out so much better. The original artist did refund me which was good. But honestly Izzie was just so crazy talented and so sweet. One of my bridesmaids was a former MUA and she loved her makeup.

I had a wonderful experience getting my makeup done for my sister's wedding, as someone who has very blonde eyebrows it was amazing to see just how they truly define and bring out so many of my features when they are more visible. The time and the artistry it had taking to brighten up my eyes aswell as my whole facial features, i have never truly felt more beautiful in my entire life i cannot begin to give more compliments on how amazing I felt and looked during the whole process. I would 100% recommend prettycanvasmakeup i had a wonderful experience and I will be going back for any future events.
