Lisa did my bridal makeup for an August wedding on a hot and sunny day, and it lasted all day and all night!

She was very thorough in her consultation process and constantly checked in during the period before the wedding to make sure that she had all of my vision and requests sorted out. I initially wasn't sure what kind of makeup I wanted to go for, but Lisa didn't hesitate to show me different options and provide her opinion on what would work best for my face and skin.

And on the day of my wedding, I felt so beautiful and confident with my soft glam look! She also did a stunning job with my bridal party and my mom - she really took the time to understand what each of them wanted and were comfortable with.

She's also overall just a lovely person to work with! We had so much fun as we got ready for the day and she also provided a very calming presence - which was much needed. I'm so glad I went with Lisa, it was amazing to have her be part of my special day ❤️

I went back and forth for a few months on whether I should post a review as I hate to speak negatively about someone’s business. Unfortunately, I was really disappointed with Lisa’s services.
I completed a trial before my wedding which went well. There was one adjustment we agreed on which was to use a slightly smaller barrel for a bouncier curl. We did a few test curls with the smaller barrel at the end of my trial and it looked great. These requests were confirmed verbally at the trial and later by email.
Lisa requested to have one hour for my makeup and two full hours to do my hair on my wedding day. I agreed to this, although the industry standard is one hour for each.
On the day of my wedding, she curled my hair into tiny ringlets. Nothing like the test curls we had confirmed previously. When I questioned this, she joked “your hair looks like Toddlers in Tiaras.” She dismissed my ongoing concerns with, “You just have to trust me girl.”
Over the two hours spent curling my hair, she became very anxious. She repeatedly commented, “Wow you’ve got a lot of hair.” No more hair than I had at the trial…
To resolve the Toddlers in Tiaras curls, she brushed them out, making my hair extremely frizzy and undoing much of the curls. When I requested for improvements to be made, she said there wasn’t any time as she had to leave. She made a couple minor tweaks, apologized for her conduct, and left.
When I received all of my wedding photos and videos a couples months after the wedding, I was so devastated to see the state of my hair. We asked our videographer not to share the full wedding video on social media, and the majority of our photos are unusable.
I followed up with Lisa to request a refund. She offered no sympathy, no apology, and of course no refund. She dismissed my concerns with a number of excuses, including a line in her contract that states “results cannot be guaranteed once the service window ends.” In other words, she’s leaving when her time is up, regardless of how I look. She also said she “checked in” with me before she had to leave (i.e. said goodbye) so I “approved” the services.
Lisa charges top dollar and has a beautiful portfolio which led me to believe I was getting the best. As the photos show, I was sadly mistaken.

I loved working with Lisa for my wedding day! She was easy to talk to, professional and kind. She's very attentive to the look you're going for and she was receptive of the changes I want after the makeup trial. My makeup lasted all day (I have super oily skin) so I was very impressed! I absolutely recommend her for your bridal day!
