She took the time during the trial to help me figure out what I was comfortable with, as I don't wear a lot of make up on a day to day basis. Andrea did everyone's hair (my hair can't hold a curl to save a life, but she made it happen!) Even after dancing like crazy all night we all had magical perfect hair. Still blown away by how my hair stayed in.
They were also totally cool with me having a different make-up artist for myself (I had a previous relationship with this artist and felt more comfortable with someone who knew my face really well already) No drama llamas over here!!! Super flexible.

Megs and her team made us feel comfortable and gorgeous! I got to work closely with Megs to develop a bridal look, and got great tips and tricks that were also true to my aesthetic. The team took the time to understand the styles of each of the 5 ladies in the group, and we all felt so pretty! As a bonus, we had a blast getting done up.

I have been absolutely blown away by Megan the past two years. My partner and I were supposed to get married in 2020 and delayed our wedding. Megan did my makeup for a wedding in 2019 then again for a family shoot in 2020. I loved her laid back, easy going attitude but most importantly LOVED how she was able to transfer my vision (Which I had a hard time communicating) to reality. Megan was the absolute BEST! When I first started looking for a wedding make up artist I had no idea where to start or how to tell if a vendor was going to be a fit... Megan's warm and friendly emails, combined with her fair pricing and impressive instagram account (@mlmakeup!), reassured me that she could potentially be The One. We had a great hair and make-up trial in April, with her talented hairstylist colleague Taryn (I HIGHLY recommend the hair and make up trial! It's fairly priced, and knowing that you've run through your looks and made any tweaks to better achieve confidence in your own skin is well worth it. Considering how many eyes will be on you on your wedding day, and how much you are likely spending on pictures... which will capture your look forever... feeling good about it will make all of those things feel much more comfortable for you!!!!). Hanging out with them, getting to know them, and getting their advice on how to make the morning of the wedding comfortable and fun for everyone was a highlight of my wedding vendor experience. One of my vendors was a bit difficult to work with and Megan demonstrated flexibility and professionalism to accomodate their challenges. All praise to Megan!

And the day of, OMG!!! The time with Megan and her team (Megan, Taryn and Laurel really stood out as being just amazingly talented and so nice to have around) was my favourite part of the day (don't tell my husband, lol). They did such a wonderful job making all of the beautiful bridesmaids, my mom, granny and me look fabulous... so we could all have more fun hanging out and celebrating than giving advice on how they could improve or tweak their work, because they just knew EXACTLY what to do! My make up and hair lasted throughout the day and long night, and I felt as beautiful going into the day as I did leaving the reception. Megan, Taryn, Laurel, THANK YOU SO MUCH. My mom, sister, and myself had our makeup done for my wedding in January and we were truly floored by the experience. Megan did an incredible job. She was so kind, caring, professional, and talented. Never made us feel rushed and made us feel so much at ease. She even gave extra lipstick and tips on making sure everything held for a whole day. My mom and sister have sensitive skin, and I break out easily, but we had zero issues! I count working with her as one of my most cherished memories out of the wedding.

Megs did my makeup and she did an incredible job. I wanted something very natural and she hit the nail on the head. She was also lots of fun to have around on our wedding day. Natalia did my hair and it was beautiful and held up well throughout a very hot and humid day. Highly recommend.
