I worked with Faye Smith Agency for my bridal hair and makeup. Their coordination team was lovely to deal (which includes Faye herself). They paired me with Gretell, one of the agency's bridal makeup artists and hair stylists, and she was definitely the perfect fit!
Gretell is incredibly talented, super fun to chat with, and made the whole process feel easy and collaborative. At my trial, I realized I didn’t totally know what I wanted — because I love makeup, I basically said ‘yes’ to everything and wanted to go full glam. After looking back at the trial photos, I totally understood why so many brides prefer incorporating some softer elements. So on my wedding day, I came with a few notes about slightly paring things down, like choosing a slightly more natural lip colour and going for a thinner eyeliner line, etc.
Gretell was so enthusiastic and understanding. She worked with me to refine and adapt the look based on our trial and our conversations. She kept the polished, full-glam feel I loved, while still making sure I looked and felt like me.
On the wedding day, my makeup was flawless and stayed in place all night long. My hair was absolutely perfect, too (exactly how I pictured it!).

I got extremely lucky to find this very talented bridal hair and make up artist Faye smith . Faye had just moved to Kelowna from Vancouver . She didn’t know when she would be moving so she kept her books open until she moved . My hair and make up had fallen through so I was panicked with a little time frame so got very lucky to find her
. I knew right away from our first phone call that she was the lady I wanted to do my hair and makeup. She was through ,asked perceptive questions and worked hard to figure out when I was hoping for .
I went for a trial with her . She had booked out the most Gorgoues suite that was decorated beautifully. It had a bridal and elegant feel that instantly created a ambience . Faye is charismatic, funny and genuine . She has a calm Enrgy that Carried through the trial and the big day . She worked hard , communicated very well and was open to playing around and fixing things to feel exactly right . She has 3 hours with brides to allow for time if something needs adjusting so there’s no stress of running out of time on the day .
I requested a lip stick that was close to matching my bouquet . She asked for a photo and after the trial mixed and blended shades so mine could be custom and match my bouquet perfectly.
She was chatty , fun and made me feel so relaxed and happy . On the day I received so many compliments on my hair and makeup . It truly added such a special element to the day . I can’t recommend her highly enough . Any bride who would want to feel comfortable, beautiful and find someone who is an absolute professional. Years of experience with brides , bridal run ways , fashion shows and more . I would recommend Faye smith agency . Her prices were very reasonable and for someone who has her level of ability she’s completely down to earth and genuine . One ecstatic bride .Faye Smith Agency's reply:

Bridal Makeup
Faye Smith Agency was a dream to work with, the communication was excellent with quick and professional responses. I told them I wanted a more natural glam look for my bridal makeup and they paired me with Jess, who was the perfect fit. My makeup was exactly what I wanted and I have never felt more beautiful! Jess also did makeup for my mom, maid of honour and mother-in-law and they all commented on how beautiful they felt. I highly recommend Faye Smith and her team for wedding hair and make up. Jaspreet, Bandana and Anastassiya all did an amazing job on my family and bridesmaids. I have had poor experiences in the past with professional hair and make up but I loved my wedding hair and make up and felt it looked even better than the trial- Zoey is so talented! She was very attentive and listened to everything that I wanted, we also had a great chat during the trial :) All the artists were very friendly and had a calm presence, and were all especially understanding when listening to my friends/family's vision on hair and makeup. Faye, Alice and the team were also very accomodating with the changes I had during the wedding planning process.

They had a promotional deal that was unbeatable in the wedding makeup game (both trial makeup and day of makeup package). The flexibility, variety, skill level and price made it a no brainer when selecting them for my big day.
They were so accommodating and helped me select and incredible stylist Nina who was so kind and really understood what I was looking for!
I have bad skin with acne, scars, and fine lines and it can be a real challenge to find a good makeup artist that is able to work with my type of skin. But Nina blew me out of the water with her skill and technique. She made me feel so beautiful in a way I never even thought possible!

I had the absolute best experience working with Faye for both my engagement shoot and my wedding day. We first met for my engagement session hair and makeup, and I knew right away I wanted her for the wedding—she nailed the look perfectly and was so easy to chat with.
On my wedding day, she did an absolutely amazing job. My hair and makeup turned out exactly as I had imagined, and I received so many compliments throughout the day. Everything lasted beautifully, even through happy tears and hours of dancing! Both my engagement and wedding looks photographed beautifully too.
She is incredibly professional, friendly, and attentive. She made the whole process feel easy and enjoyable. I can’t recommend Faye enough—she is amazing at what she does and made me feel my absolute best on such an important day.

Absolutely loved my wedding hair and makeup! I was booked on very short notice (my fault) and was super happy with the work that Makayla did on my hair/makeup! I felt like she listened to all my concerns, gently guided me when I was undecided, and was in general just a joy to be around. -
