Best Hair & Makeup Artist
I had a destination wedding in Banff so I wanted to find someone closer to Banff in order to reduce the travel fees. I found Selma Beauty based in Calgary. Selma is a very talented hair and makeup artist. She even let me do 2 trials as I was unsure at first what I wanted to do. The hair and makeup on my wedding day turned out perfect - I cannot recommend her enough! -

Looked Beautiful
Selma did my makeup and my bridesmaids for my wedding. It looked amazing and she was a pleasure to work with. She also communicated with my hair artist and photographer to ensure everything was well organized. Her website and billing process is very professional. I would definitely recommend Selma to anyone! -

Selma is amazing! I have never felt more beautiful. She took all of my inspiration pictures and was able to bring them to life perfectly. My hair and makeup trial was just as amazing as the day of.
Selma did my hair and makeup for the day and all of my bridesmaids and mothers hair. Even those that were skeptical if they could get the hair they wanted left super impressed.
Selma coordinated with the rest of my day of team to set out a perfect timeline and brought on Joanne to complete the bridesmaid and moms makeup. She was also amazing and knew how to work with everyones skin.
highly recommend if you want to feel naturally beautiful. -

I would really recommend Selma for her makeup services as she did me such a solid on my big day! My makeup artist had dropped out 2 weeks before my wedding and I was left scrambling to find a good replacement. She was the only one who was able to fit me in but I was so excited as she was wayyy more what I was looking for even from my other artist. She was open to fit me in at a 5:30 am start even though she had to drive and hour and a half back for two more weddings that day!! She is hardworking, fast, and very kind. She took my requests in on a whim without a trial run and did such a perfect job at colour matching (which I was worried for because I’m so pale). The eye makeup stayed so perfect throughout my day through many many ugly cries and I only needed one touch up of my own doing throughout the whole day. Couldn’t be happier with the service, she saved the day! -

Selma was wonderful to work with. She did makeup for me and all five women attendants, and knocked every look out of the park.
The planning/logistics was very painless and easy - she's very professional and flexible. Highly highly recommend working with her.
