Jas is THE fairy glam mother!
Planning a wedding is a huge task and coupled with a pandemic it can be stressful to say the least! I had my initial makeup/hair artist back out, and my sister had already booked Jas for her upcoming wedding so I connected with her to see if she might be available. Let me tell you, Jas was an absolute dream to work with from the initial consultation to the trial to the day of. She has a calming and positive demeanor and is exactly what you'd want in a wedding day makeup and hair artist. I'm not someone who typically wears a full face of makeup, and have probably had 1 up do in my whole life, which I let Jas know from the beginning....I brought some inspirational photos and she really went above and beyond! On the day of the wedding she did my mom's makeup, and kept it very light and fresh, as well as pinning dupattas for mom + sisters. She stayed with me all through the photo/video shots at home and ensured makeup, hair and dupatta were perfect before I went to the ceremony.
Due to COVID restrictions we had to minimize photographers and videographers so Jas arrived promptly at 3 AM EST and got right to work. I felt like the best possible version of myself, no cakey makeup, and no painful hairpins....I actually couldn't feel any makeup on my face, it just felt super moisturized.Â
Getting ready (at 3AM!) was so relaxing, and I felt 110% at ease in Jas' magic hands. Everyone commented how natural yet glam the makeup and hair were done...I even had a few family and friends reach out for her details. On the wedding day she tweaked a few things that she'd noted from our trial, 3 weeks prior such as doing a more dramatic liner and adding some gold to the shadow...she has such an eye for detail. My hair and makeup stayed put all day long, from 3 AM EST until 11:30 PM EST when I washed everything off. Products were super high end (Dior, Charlotte Tilbury, Caudalie, Velour lashes), I even bought the lip colour and Caudalie spray! I would 1000% recommend Jas and can't wait to see her again in October for my sisters wedding....she's also in Scarborough which was a huge plus for me being based in Markham.
