Charisse was very easy to communicate with and she assigned Kristina as my make up artist and she did not disappoint. Kristina made me feel very beautiful on my wedding day, she works professionally and has good work ethic, she was also very comfortable to work with. She made sure everyone was happy with the outcome of her work! -

I hired Charisse to do makeup for me, the bridal party (5), my mom and my grandmother. She brought an assistant, Ica, because of the number of people so we wouldn't have to get ready as early. Researching and selecting the right makeup artist was incredibly important for me because I had used others who did not listen to my own personal style, or had seen people whose makeup did not wear well in real life. I wanted to look fresh, glory, and glam but natural in photos and in real life. I also had a very diverse bridal party and wanted someone that I felt confident would be comfortable with skin tones and types of all kinds - in the past, I had struggled with this as some makeup artists would use the wrong undertone or shade because they were not used to this.
When I came across Charisse, I knew she was the right one. I instantly love talking to her and her fun, sweet personality. She responded quickly, answered all my questions, and addressed any concerns. Her prices are reasonable, and her and Ica did a phenomenal job on my big day.
I did a bridal trial in advance and she provided skincare recommendations that made the makeup wear so much better on the real wedding day. The day of my wedding was insanely hot and humid (far worse than normal), but everyone's makeup still held up very well. She offers touch-up kits for purchase which included q-tips, eyelash spooly, blotting paper, lipstick or gloss, and more. Knowing how humid it was going to be, I purchased additional blotting paper in advance and put it in my emergency kit as well.
Her and Ica arrived on time and did everyone's makeup beautifully, while taking into account their individual preferences. She is flexible, and experienced. My mother and grandmother also looked stunning, and even wore false lashes. At the very last minute, my mom asked them to do my aunt's makeup as well which was entirely unplanned. I was worried about time and they were conscious of this and committed to prioritizing the bridal party and taking the time to do a good job, while still adding her on at the end.
All in all, I could not recommend anyone better to do your makeup for a special occasion, wedding, or just for fun. Definitely choose Charisse's team!! -

Charisse is a very friendly and bubbly person. A trait you wouldn't think you need for your a makeup artist. She made everyone including me very comfortable. She is very efficient and always on time. Very easy to talk to and she doesn't mind answering questions or concerns that you have during the process. She was very reliable about scheduling all my girls on the day of the wedding. She even managed to change my schedule even though it was last minute. I didn't have any stress about the hair and makeup the day of my wedding. She also made sure her assistants were on time and on the loop with the changes. I had so many compliments with my makeup on my wedding day. Thank you Charisse and your magic hands
