Highly recommend!
I was referred to Alison by my planner and booked her a year in advance without a trial as my wedding date was quite busy. I was quite nervous booking without a trial but when the engagement session came which to me, acted as my trial, I was so relieved I had booked her! Alison is super easy to talk to and keeps you calm during the morning. She and her team arrived punctual (more than 15 minutes early to set up) and was professional and easy to work with with. She set me up in a different room from my bridal party which I was confused at first but later learned that it was so I didn’t need to be overwhelmed with all the girls looking and trying to talk to me and I could truly relax before the busy day ahead. These were small things that only someone who is well versed in the industry would know and was much appreciated. I also asked her to adjust a few things for my makeup compared to my engagement shoot and she was super welcoming with my preferences and executed what I had in mind. My hair and makeup lasted all day in the heat and everyone commented how beautiful the natural glam was on me! I’ve always found that other MUAs have a hard time working with monolids but Alison really knew how to work around them :) My bridal party and family also looked amazing! Highly recommend!

Alison is an incredibly talented, personable, and professional hair and makeup artist. I hired her for my bridal look, including both the trial and the wedding day, and I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out.
During the trial, she really listened to my inspiration and vision, and skillfully adapted the look to suit me in a way that felt natural and flattering. She made the whole process easy and enjoyable, putting me completely at ease.
On the wedding day, Alison truly elevated my bridal glam — the final look was polished, radiant, and made me feel beautiful while still feeling like "me". It had that extra touch of glam magic that made the day feel even more special.

Highly Recommend — Listens, Delivers, and Truly Cares
I had such a wonderful experience working with Alison. She’s so easy to talk to, friendly, and truly makes you feel comfortable from the start. Booking appointments was simple, and she was always on time and well-prepared.
For my first trial, I didn’t really know how to communicate what I wanted and didn’t show her any reference photos — and even then, she glammed me up beautifully. The look photographed amazingly, but it wasn’t quite what I had envisioned. So for our second trial, I came more prepared with photos and a clearer idea, and she absolutely nailed it.
What I appreciated most is how receptive she is — she listens carefully, gives thoughtful recommendations, and is always open to adjusting anything I’m unsure about. It’s rare to find someone who not only listens but truly delivers exactly what you’re picturing.
Her team was also incredible — my family and sister-in-law loved their hair and makeup and couldn’t stop complimenting how professional and talented everyone was.
I completely trust her and know I’m always in good hands. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, talented, and caring makeup artist! 11/10

She even gave me all suggestion so if you are not sure about the style you should definitely ask her advice.
On the wedding day, my makeup stayed all night and I have straight hair but my hair stayed curly all night as well 👏👏

Va Va Voom - A Wedding Look of My Dreams
Alison Sun came highly recommended and from our first interaction for my wedding makeup trial/Masters graduation makeup look, it was patently obvious why. For the trial, Alison was not just punctual, but early so she could set up in advance and worked with my constraints of having to leave for my graduation ceremony at 7am. I looked stunning—my skin was flawless and glowing, my makeup was an enhanced version of myself, and it didn’t feel heavy or uncomfortable even with false lashes.
This professional attitude was amplified on the wedding day itself when we sought her team’s services for bridal makeup, 3 bridesmaids, 2 mothers, and bridal touch ups. She provided us with a schedule over a week in advance which assuaged our worries of time keeping as her team finished with time to spare. The quality of work was phenomenal. My father in law did not recognize his daughter/my sister in law at first because her look was unlike her usual self. I wanted my bridesmaids to have updos to contrast with my half up look. Our hair and makeup looked great throughout the day, though my touch up was definitely needed as my hair does not naturally hold curls well. Many people complimented the luminosity of my skin. I definitely looked my best on my wedding day and I’m so thankful for Alison’s help. She’s truly an industry professional, an artist, and a great person. I couldn’t recommend her highly enough.

Everyone loved their hair and makeup!
I hired Alison and her team for my wedding day. Even from the very beginning, Alison was quick to respond and very patient with all the questions I had. I decided to have my hair/makeup trial done the same day as my engagement shoot and she was very flexible and willing to do what she could to accommodate the tight schedule. She was punctual, very knowledgeable, and easy to work with. My wedding party loved their looks (even my mom who isn’t used to wearing much makeup) and got compliments all day! I would 1000% recommend her and her team and would definitely hire her again if I had a special event and needed hair/makeup done! Thanks again Alison and the team! ♥️

Amazing and detailed Wedding Makeup Artist
Alison is amazing, professional, knowledgeable and very detailed. She ensures that you are happy with your wedding look and gives great suggestions. I previously had bad experience with professional makeup so I was terrified in the beginning, but my experience has 100% changed after doing the trial with Alison. Her professional makeup skill has gave me more confidence and I am so happy that I chose her and I would highly recommend her!
