Sarah Leschied is a professional hairstylist who is passionate about creating beautiful styles for each client’s wedding day. From updos to blowouts and extensions to coloring, this artist has the skills necessary to provide memorable hairstyles for clients getting married and wedding parties.
Welcome to hair By Sarah. On location hair for your wedding day. I provide Hair services to the bride and bridal party.
Fully licenced Hair Stylist and Insured for ON LOCATION weddings.
Please contact for travel fee.
Please note I only travel within 1 ½ hours of London

Hair trials are done from my home studio in Komoka. Please bring all hair pieces, extensions you plan on wearing on your wedding day to your appointment. A Hair trial is recommended for all Brides as I go over hair styles and timeline for wedding to make sure we get hair and makeup done in the timeline we need to, to run smoothly with other vendors such as photography and make-up.
Second Stylist $250 plus her travel – recommended for party’s over 9 or if you are on a tight timeline.
Extensions and hair fillers are extra and quoted at a consultation

Hair extensions – if you know you would like to wear extensions for you wedding buy them at least 3 months before so you have them for your hair trail. If you need help with this process please ask me!!

When should I wash my hair before hair trial or wedding day?
You can wash your hair night before. Let air dry and leave in low pony or down (try to avoid hair kinks in the hair). Your welcome to wash morning of but your hair must be dry. There is a blow dry charge of $40 for wet hair. Also, wet hair will slow me down and keeps me from sticking to your time line.

My name Sarah Leschied. I'm from the small town of Dorchester, Ontario and my passion and occupation is a bridal hair stylist.
I have an extensive background in hair services.
I graduated from DeVog in 2005 and began my apprenticeship with an amazing hairstylist/mentor at Entrenous, in London, Ontario.
From there, I have worked with other notable professional salons in the city of London such as Studio H and LimeBlu.
I decided to transition myself into my main passion for wedding hair, formal up-dos and extensions. I am also a colour expert.
In 2011, I participated in the Contessa Hair Awards. I nearly placed first, but by a tie breaker, I placed second, but my friends and family would tell you the excitment I got out of it, I placed first.
Since 2014, after my son was born, I decided to transition my career and began teaching Hairsyling at Fanshawe College and beginning a transition into hairstyling for formal events such as weddings and proms. I've been trained in many types of hair extension tecniques and styles.
I have worked with hundreds brides since my hair styling career transitioned from primarily in-salon clients. I can also recommend any wedding vendors in the London, Ontario area.
Some of my work has been featured in Wedding Bells Magazine and Hitched Magazine.
In addition to hair, I have also learned Make-up Artistry through MAC Cosmetics.
