They offer personal appointments so each soon-to-be newlywed receives the attentive service they deserve. During the initial one-hour appointment, the shop’s professional style consultants are delighted to help select gowns for the client to try on. Once they find their once-in-a-lifetime dress, the production process takes roughly five months. To complete the wedding day look, this shop also carries shoes, veils, and accessories.

Beyond Mother of the Bride (MOB) Expectations!

Yours, by E is an incredible boutique in its own right and the experience is top shelf. Ellen welcomed our party as we gathered to say YES to the dress for my daughter. Ellen finessed dresses to get the exact look that Sydney was dreaming about! In the moment, Ellen contacted the Canadian dress designer to ask about the possibility of altering some pieces. The designer responded imminently to Ellen which signifies the genuine relationship Ellen has with her designers as well. Ellen's attention to these pieces was extraordinaire. Above and beyond

Ellen was wonderful to work with! She was kind, patient, and provided as much detail as possible. She was quick to respond to phone calls or texts and the space is absolutely stunning! A dream boutique to go dress shopping at! While I didn’t end up getting my dress from there, the service was above and beyond (I went back twice hoping to find a dress there!). I highly recommend this mom and daughter boutique!

Personalized, professional and understanding

Yours by E was the first store I went to. But after many other bridal appointments, nothing compared to their dedicated and individualized experience. Their store is lovely with a variety of styles but this mother daughter duo are what make the experience so special. They are extremely flexible with appointment times and accommodated my crazy schedule. They didn't rush me and they really care. I feel so good about finding my dress here.

Fantastic experience, not many size options

I had a wonderful visit at Yours by E. The venue is beautiful and the staff was wonderful to work with. They were knowledgeable and helpful when it came to changing between dresses. Although my experience was wonderful, I will say that I was limited to how many dress I could try on. I am a street size 12 and only 5 dress fit me. The flexibility would be a 5 if the store was more size inclusive.

Highly recommend!!

Ellen was amazing to deal with! I was feeling overwhelmed at the idea of dress shopping and she put me at ease and made me feel like I could really take my time in finding something amazing! The shop is beautiful and there is a great selection of dresses and accessories :)

An Experience

I went to a lot of different shops to see the dresses available in Halifax. I was so pleasantly surprised with Yours by E being such a unique experience. From the smell when you first walked in to the most recent visit when I had given my measurements and Tracy saying 'Welcome to the family'. The relationship with them is just beginning she told me, her excitement of the whole process was genuine and so heart warming.

Amazing Personalized Experience

I had the absolute best time at this gorgeous store, so much so I made an appointment to go back a second time as soon as I left. Both experiences were so positive and I can't wait to go back to shop accessories and more the next time I'm in town.

Fantastic Experience

My experience shopping at Yours, by E was fantastic from the start, Their booking system involved the right amount of communication before the appointment and really set the tone. I was thrilled to be able to have my Mum, two aunts and two grandmothers with me in the gorgeous space in historic properties. They were welcoming and friendly, making us very feel comfortable.

The dress selection was exactly what I was looking for, unique but classic styles, and within trying three dresses of my choosing, the shop owner Ellen brought over a dress for me to try, and wow was she correct with her pick. I was not expecting to find a dress that gave me butterflies on my first attempt, but sometimes things are meant to happen as they do.
All in all I had an amazing time with Ellen and am so thankful for her help.

The dreamiest experience

I had the most wonderful experience at Yours by E and found my perfect dress! Their selection of dresses was uniquely gorgeous and they made my whole experience fantastic. They were so supportive and had great ideas for customizing my dress and veil to suit me perfectly. The store is absolutely beautiful and so dreamy. A memory I’ll cherish forever! I can’t wait to go back for my fitting!

She started planning Yours, by E after chatting with her mom and looking at what the market had to offer in Halifax and the maritimes. She works 3-4 days a week as a Dental Hygienist and hopes to soon turn her passion into a full time job!

Tracy was approached by Ellen in early 2020 with a crazy idea to open a bridal boutique during the pandemic. She excitely jumpped at the opportunity and has been loving every minute of it! With a backgroound in marketing and in the early days, some wedding planning, Tracy is puts herself in the brides shoes when looking for the perfect gown.
