I was dreading shopping for a gown, which I know is weird, but I have old-fashioned tastes, which excluded me from so many modern gowns that I felt like it was going to be impossible to find THE DRESS without getting one custom made or spending way over my budget. Huge shoutout to Amanda, who took one look at my Pinterest board and immediately grasped that I was looking for a timeless gown with classic lines and somehow found one without any lace, sequins or tulle(these materials chafe my skin and I just can’t deal with it). This was a unicorn hunt, and I have felt ashamed that I don’t like the feel of so many fabrics and dresses(I have sensory troubles, even tags in clothing are intolerable for me), but Amanda was immediately enthusiastic, she took the challenge on as a personal mission and was just as excited as I was when I found my dress! It fit perfectly right off the rack other than needing some hemming, how great is that? I could not have asked for better service, I felt like I’d made a friend when all was said and done. The whole team was so kind and accommodating, all of them helped me feel like I wasn’t annoying or a pain to work with. If you want a team that will take excellent care of you, this is the shop for you!! They also had a rainbow of formal gowns to choose from, they’re not only a bridal shop!

I cannot say enough good things about Sophie's! This was my fourth establishment and my second "chain." I cannot say enough about Sam, she is beyond fantastic. So welcoming and happy, her sparkle is infectious. No matter how many dresses you attempt, no matter how many visits you need to come back to make your decision, she is there, kindly waiting to help with whatever you may need. Out of all of the establishments I have been to, Sam, far exceeds anyone I have interacted with. You cannot go wrong here.

Best Shoppe Ever
I had the best experience at Sophie's Gown Shoppe. Found my dream dress there, when i thought i wasnt even looking. The staff are amazing, helpful and super friendly! I highly recommend!

Wonderful service
No complaints about my experience with Sophie's. I went in with 1 dress and 1 dress only on my mind but my consultant was insistent that I try a few different styles and boy am I thankful she did! If she hadn't, I would not have found my dream dress. Everyone I encountered were friendly and professional.

Lovely gown shop
Finding the gown was so easy here, I’m a larger size and they had sample gowns that were in my size range which made me feel great! The whole experience finding my gown was amazing! Picking up gown was less impressive. I was able to try it on but the girls there were too busy to really help out. I did not make an alteration appointment though it was just a try on.

Best shop in town!
As a plus size bride, I was worried about shopping for a wedding dress. Sophie's was my first stop, and ended up being my last. I found my dress in one visit, and it was everything I was looking for. The ladies were so incredibly helpful and sweet, every appointment back made me feel special and I always left with a big smile on my face. I couldn't recommend these wonderful humans enough. Their selection of dresses is wonderful, and their consultants are highly knowledgeable.

A good shop for classic dresses
Sophie's was the 2nd shop I visited on my long search for a wedding gown. I did find a few I liked and learnt a lot about styles I did and didn't like, as well as possibilities for accessorizing a dress. Service was also great.
In the end, Sophie's had a lot of classic looks at fair price points which I think most brides would love, I however was looking for something really unique.

Great selection and great service
This gown shop was my favourite one out of the many that I attended. They were very organized and helped me find the perfect dress out of their wide selection. They listened to what I was really wanting and added some extra selection.
We were shopping for a dress during the peak of COVID so it was hard not being able to touch any dresses on the rack or browse due to their policy at the time, but they had a good idea of their inventory and took my wants and needs into consideration and listened to my friends/family when they suggested things as well.
