We dealt with Next Entertainment for our Sept 2024 wedding. From the moment we met David, we knew Next was the right DJ team for us.

Jon and David were responsive and very professional throughout the wedding planning process. Ilan was our DJ on the day of the wedding and he was just as great to deal with. He understood our musical preferences and kept our favorite tunes playing all throughout the evening. We weren't a big group but he made sure to keep people dancing all night!

Our wedding was far from traditional, and our choice of music was even more so- but these guys did a great job catering to my heavier taste in music, while also ensuring some classic bangers that everyone can enjoy! The night was a blast, and as someone who does NOT ever dance, these guys got even me on my feet!

DJ David and Jon were EXACTLY what my partner and I were looking for in a wedding DJ, I would recommend them to anyone looking for a DJ for a wedding.

Our wedding was 120 people and we did not have a wedding planner or a day of coordinator so we needed a vendor who could quickly understand what we were looking for and deliver. DJ David and Jon did exactly that.

David and Jon were easy to communicate with and they truly listened to exactly what my partner wanted for us for our wedding. They provided everything we needed: ceremony music, microphones for speeches, light MCing when we needed it, lighting equipment, dances(first, father daughter,etc) and top class music for the dance floor. I was never worried that they would make a mistake.

We sent David a list of songs to show the type of the music we wanted to hear at our wedding and trusted him to play music that kept the party going all night long and David did that perfectly! Our dance floor had multiple generations of family and friends boogieing all night.

We highly recommend Next Entertainment! Jon was very responsive as he quickly answered any questions we had. David was the DJ at our wedding and he was absolutely amazing. He kept the crowd going and catered to our needs. He read the room well and had everybody up dancing! We received many compliments from our guests about the music and entertainment.

Next entertainement did a phenomenal job with our decor (they installed draping all over the room with up lighting). David was our DJ and he got the party going all night and was just an overall gem to deal with. His prices were the best we could find for the quality of the service!

Working with NEXT Entertainment was super easy. Very easy to get in touch and when we explained our wedding (~50 people) they made good suggestions for an appropriate package and didn't try to sell us frivolous extras. The DJ we worked with, DJ Ilan, was amazing. He did a really good job of MCing the evening, keeping everything flowing smoothly. He got our guests up and dancing early and kept them going all evening. Several remarked on how good his selection of music was. We also felt really comfortable working with him. Also, he did a good job of keeping the music toned down during the meal so our guests didn't have to shout to talk with each other. All-in-all, it was perfect and we wouldn't have wanted anything to change.

David était très disponible avant la signature du contrat pour répondre à nos questions. Nous l’avions choisi pour nos fiançailles et notre mariage en tant que DJ/ animateur.

Aux fiançailles, David était supposé mettre une musique d’ambiance et animer quelques jeux. Pour les jeux, son animation était très pauvre. Il n’a pas du tout expliqué les jeux et les invités étaient confus. Nous avons même eu plusieurs remarques de nos invités suite aux fiançailles et plusieurs nous ont encouragés à changer de DJ/ animateur. Nous avons parlé à David de cela. Il nous a dit qu’il est un DJ et non un animateur. Cela est vrai, mais pourquoi ne pas nous l’avoir dit plus tôt qu’il n’est pas à l’aise?!

Pour le mariage, nous n’avions pas de jeux. Nous voulions tout de même que l’animateur mette une belle ambiance et sache bien faire les annonces. Nous ne voulions pas prendre de risque en laissant cette tâche à David et nous avons donc engagé un autre animateur, Wladimir de Funkalestik Prod, et il a d'ailleurs fait un excellent travail. David avait donc seulement à s’occuper de la musique, lumière et effets spéciaux (dry ice et étincelles). Nous avons aussi loué un photobooth à David. Le travail de David était correct au mariage, mais sans plus. Il n’a pas vraiment utilisé la liste de nos chansons qu’on lui a fournit, il a oublié de mettre les étincelles pour la coupe du gâteau, et il a mal écrit le nom du marié pour le photobooth.

Cela dit, mon review de 1 étoile n’est pas pour son travail aux fiançailles ou mariage. Cette note s’explique par le fait que, depuis le mariage, David a complètement ignoré nos appels, textos, courriels, et ce, depuis plusieurs mois. Nous le contactions après le mariage pour qu’il nous envoie toutes les photos du photobooth, ainsi que la vidéo promotionnelle qu’il devait nous envoyer en échange d’accepter qu’un vidéographe de son équipe filme le mariage. Il nous a seulement répondu lorsque ma femme a mis un mauvais review sur google. Et le pire dans tout ça, c’est la façon dont il nous a répondu. Cela témoigne d’un immense manque de professionnalisme. Voir images ci-jointes. Somme toute, nous sommes très déçus du service reçu par David et nous le recommandons pas pour un mariage.
