We cannot recommend DJ Haymaker highly enough. He was such an integral part of our wedding and we truly cannot imagine the day being a success with anyone else. We met with him multiple times leading up to our wedding, where he asked us all kinds of questions to determine the vibe and energy we were looking to have for our wedding. He also came to our rehearsal the night before and coordinated and organized how the ceremony would look on the day of.
For the wedding day itself he had a hand in every part. He ensured the ceremony ran smoothly, as well as Mc'd the entire reception. His games were super fun and made the guests feel at ease to start the reception. His introductions were perfect and were a huge highlight of the wedding, everyone was laughing the entire time. He made the guests feel comfortable and the energy in the room noticeably shifted when he first took the mic. The music for the dance floor was perfect and people were dancing from the start till the lights came on. We have had so many people after the wedding tell us how impressed they were with him, and that it was the best wedding they had ever been to. We would recommend him incredibly highly for anyone looking for a DJ. His professionalism and competence made us confident that the event would go smoothly and made our wedding a stress free day. -

We hired Jeff for his DJ/MC services at our wedding ceremony and reception and we are SO glad we did. Throughout the months leading up to the wedding he was in communication with us and helped calm our worries for the big day. We used his wedding portal to fill out information and forms that helped create an extremely personalized service from Jeff. We had multiple guests ask us if we knew him personally because of how wonderful of a job he did. We loved the little ice breaking games we played during the reception. We loved how he introduced our wedding party to our guests, everyone was laughing and it really got the party started. Our ceremony was flawless as well and he was able to accommodate my requests for certain songs and extending the length to make it work etc.
Jeff was able to create a perfect entertainment environment for our dream wedding. He’s actually a bit of a comedian with how funny he is. He even got my 92 year old grandmother breaking it down on the dance floor! We seriously could not have asked for anything more from him! He even took pictures and videos through the day, communicated with our venues so we didn’t have to worry about set up, and completely stole the heart of our guests! Thank you Jeff for an amazing day. Hire Jeff and you and your guests will have the time of their lives!!! -

Jeff Hay (DJ Haymaker) was an absolute cornerstone of our wedding day. He didn't just DJ and MC, he helped plan our vision weeks in advance, guided us through the rehearsal, and made sure our timeline and overall flow came together perfectly. The ceremony was flawless, and the reception was pure fun from start to finish. So many guests told us how wonderful he was and how much fun he made the whole party. He played every song we asked for, read the room perfectly all night, and brought this constant positivity and optimism that set the tone for everything. He's also basically a comedian, genuinely hilarious. When other vendors found out months ahead of time that we'd booked him, they were thrilled for us, which says a lot on its own. We have no idea how we would have pulled off our day without him. I'd recommend Jeff to anyone getting married, without hesitation. -

The enthusiasm that DJ Haymaker brought to the event was amazing and was involved with our event for the whole evening. He was great to deal with when arranging everything and was in constant contact up to the event. He even got dressed up for our 80's theme. I would highly recommend Jeff and look forward to when we can work with him again. -

We have no regrets at all about DJ Haymaker. We hired him to be both the DJ and our MC. He kept our event flowing smooth, kept the spot light on the right people at the right time, and music choice was excellent. I would recommended to anyone who is after a true professional. -

What a blast!!! We had the absolute best time. I couldn't have asked for anything better. I wish the night had lasted an extra 5 hours. We have been to weddings where the DJ was horrible, and it really ruined the night. I was so scared that would be our case, music is everything. We were from out of town so it made things even scarier for us. When seeing the price, I thought it was steep but when reading the reviews and seeing that he was also MC and brought games, we decided to take a leap. Man, am I happy we did. He was perfect for our crew. The games are beyond fun, the dance floor was packed all night. His DJ portal, un real had all the details, asked every question in the book and very user-friendly. We even met and had about a 3-hour conversation about vision and expectations. He brought up so many more ideas of ways to make the evening that much better with all the experience he has. He was so much more than just an MC / DJ. I watched him be there time and time again, following the venue's day of planner, coordinating everything to make sure it went as we wished. His mission was to make our day everything we had hoped and more. The smile, the jokes, his amazing energy was refreshing to to see! The only thing I am disappointed about is that I wont be able to have the experience again. I wish he worked at a bar full-time. After the whole experience, it just felt like an old friend. I almost just want to crash all his future wedding, is was that fun. Don't doubt his work, go for it. Impossible, you will regret I promise you! Thank again!! Love The Lajoie's!!! -

Jeff was the lifeblood of our wedding. As our MC he kept the wedding entertaining and flowing so seamlessly through the day. He led us and our guests through so many fun activities and games and kept the whole crowd wildly entertained! As our DJ he absolutely crushed it! Every single one of our guests was on the dance floor, and even the staff at the venue joined in! My husband, who is notoriously never on a dance floor, stayed on the dance floor for the entire night! That’s a true testament to how amazing Jeff is at bringing the party to life!
Leading up to the wedding, Jeff told us he wanted to make sure that we and our guests had the best time ever and he absolutely delivered on that! So many of our guests told us afterwards that it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to and so much of that was thanks to Jeff! Our friends and family were raving about Jeff for weeks after the wedding and we keep saying how the best decision we made in our planning process was choosing to work with Jeff! Not only is he amazing at DJing and MCing but he is also an incredibly genuine, kind, helpful, and fun-loving person to be around during the planning process and the wedding day itself. He really put us at ease and took away so much stress, we were able to relax and enjoy the whole wedding day knowing we had him there to lead us through everything! We would 1000% recommend DJ Haymaker to anyone who wants to also have the best wedding ever!
