DJ Barrymore saved the day!

After our wedding had to move towns because of a forest fire, I had no dj and only a couple weeks before the wedding. I was scrambling to find someone who was reasonably priced and was lucky enough to stumble onto bow valley dj on WeddingWire. I emailed him and he got back to me quickly to say he was able to make it work. The pre-wedding process was super easy. DJ Barrymore answered all my questions quickly and the portal was easy to use.

It was even easier on the wedding day. DJ Barrymore spoke to my MC and gave her some great tips to make the party go smoother. Everything flowed so well during dinner and speeches and then when the party got started it never stopped! He played all our must plays, took a few requests and we just had a great mix of music all night long! We got compliments from all our guests on how great our dj was.

DJ Barrymore definitely saved our day and we cannot recommend him enough!

Great vibes!

I would recommend if you want a great party ! We had such a fun wedding reception dance party , he knew when to change the music and when to slow it down to keep the guests busy and having a great time. He also was very prompt in responding to any of my questions I had. Super helpful and kind! He knows what he’s doing!

Best DJ experience we could've imagined!

Barrymore was an amazing DJ, if you are thinking of hiring him for your event, you should not think twice!

He was extremely professional and responsive in the run-up to the event. He was easy to schedule with and gave us the option to give him a list of songs/no-play songs for the event. We didn't come up with a very long list of requested songs, but he managed to create a vibe that was perfect for the crowd on the night of the wedding. He was extremely easygoing on the day of the wedding which really helped with the flow of the day.

We had a small wedding with a smaller dance floor, but he kept the energy high all night and everyone spent most of the night on the dance floor! He was really able to read what songs got everybody excited and took it from there. The lights that he set up were also awesome in creating a super fun dance party.

Barrymore is an awesome DJ and a great person! We couldn't recommend him enough!

Barrymore was very responsive in all of our many communications and helped not only facilitate the reception but the ceremony preceding it at an entirely different location. During all phases the music was precisely as we designed and where we had blank spots he filled in the spaces perfectly.

During the reception party his transitions were smooth and kept everyone dancing without missing a beat - even though we had a primarily younger crowd Barrymore somehow kept the whole family partying through some dirty bass and house sets. I am a bit stubborn when it comes to music, and so is my wife - and we loved his adaptability and style. I can't tell you how much I appreciate that.

Amazing DJ!

We worked with Bow Valley DJ for our wedding in Canmore. The Dj was fantastic! He read the room and if there weren't as many people dancing to a song he switched it up smoothly and quickly. My MC also said he was great to work with!

Hire them!!

Bow Valley DJ was incredible to work with. They quickly responded to all of our questions and they have a great website set up to build your time line/music requests with tons of super helpful suggestions. We had Matt come for our wedding he had a great vibe and had our dance floor bumping the entire night. I highly recommend him!

Absolutely Made the Party!!

DJ Barry was absolutely incredible for our wedding reception! He created a set that got everyone on the dance floor, and I heard nothing but amazing things from everyone at the party. A DJ can make or break your reception, and he really made it everything we wanted it to be! Highly recommend!

Great DJ, especially for families.

Scott was the DJ at our friend's wedding in Canmore. Overall, I was impressed with how friendly, courteous, and professional he was. As a parent, I also have to add that if there are going to be children (or families with children) at your event, then I highly recommend Scott. He made a point of inviting our 3-year old and our friend's 4-year old up to "help" him play the music and really interacted with them throughout the evening. Having DJ Scott certainly improved our evening!

Had guests raving about him!

Barrymore was truly amazing. Fun mix of music, and the kids present also had an absolute blast getting to see his setup and wearing the headphones.

Highly recommend!!

Such a great dancefloor! I would highly recommend Bow Valley DJ. DJ Matt was so much fun and made the night special. There was an issue with the venue and the noise levels, but the DJ was able to accomidate really well and everyone still managed to have so much fun. Would highly recommend.
