DJ Dsmooth not only provided an exceptional DJ booth setup, but also brought our reception to life with lighting synced to the music. The attention to detail in crafting an immersive experience was truly remarkable.

The music selection was nothing short of pure fire. DJ Dsmooth is a master of his craft and was able to mix live as our guest made request. His ability to blend upbeat tempos with soulful slow dances showcased a perfect understanding of the crowd and the ambiance of the space.

The dance floor was alive with energy all night long and we never left empty for a minute. DJ Dsmooth played a pivotal role in ensuring the joyous spirit of our wedding was felt by everyone. I would absolutely recommend DJ D-Smooth. Phenomenal music, incredible lighting, and a night our guest won’t forget. D-Smooth handled all the music and lighting for our event including the ceremony and reception. D-Smooth had our guest dancing all night long and we can’t thank him enough for making our night so special. Derrick…aka DJ D-Smooth was our DJ for our wedding at Universal Eventspace back in September. He is such an awesome guy! From our initial zoom call, to our FaceTime meeting, to our back and forth messaging…he’s been absolutely professional and chill at the same time! Based on our conversations…he already knew what kind of vibe we were going for. Derrick definitely curated a playlist that every song that played, someone said “that’s my vibe” or jamming to the lyrics. He is honestly an awesome DJ and all of our guests could not stop dancing whether they were on the dance floor, at the bar, in the lobby and even at their tables. He definitely did not disappoint!

First heard Derrick playing at the ROM, we booked him to play at our wedding before the pandemic and unfortunately we had to reschedule multiples times, at all times Derrick was very flexible and super easy to work with. When we finally were able to have the wedding Derrick was very accommodating, we shared a Spotify playlist and he took it from there. We had a small 40 person wedding but he still managed to get everyone on the dance floor and we all had an amazing time. He also played our ceremony music, he also brings his own equipment and coordinated directly with the venue. Very professional and very easy to work with we would 100% recommend him.

DJ think Jay and I have done many parties together as well as podcast so when it came to my wedding I looked no further. Made the night special super professional and played all the right music. Can't wait to have him again for the next party

Derrick was an absolute pleasure to work with. He is very friendly, personable and took care of all our music needs from the wedding procession music, first dance, dinner music to wedding party. Our guests both old and very young loved the music and were dancing all night long. He took everyone's song requests, even the ones in a different language and mixed them up very well that you cannot tell that he doesn't understand the other language. My partner and I had a very, VERY diverse group of guests during our wedding, and we weren't sure how we'd be able to connect everyone and keep them all entertained. Well, the answer was Kevin/DJ Token. We were vocal about our concerns and he really took it to heart. His awesome set list was as diverse as the crowd, but somehow kept everyone more than happy. Almost all of our 175 guests stayed on the dancefloor 'til last call - it was honestly incredible to see. Kevin really played a huge part in making our special day magical and if we were to do it all over again, we would not hesitate to ask him to be our DJ.

It was a pleasure having Derrick be our DJ for our wedding. He did not disappoint! From our initial inquiry, zoom meetings and finally meeting him the day of the wedding, he was always professional, super chill and easy to talk to. He responded to all of our emails in a timely manner which was very reassuring for us during such a stressful time planning. He played music that accommodated both Filipino and Italian families, as well as the older folks, kids and our friends that were in attendance. Nothing but positive feedback from our families about our DJ, his set up (lights), and obviously the music he played. We would do it all over again just so we can jam to his music/ mixes!

Derrick helped make the night a memorable one! He took the time connect multiple times before the wedding to make sure the itinerary and flow was understood. Derrick took additional time in connecting with individual family members to help make their speeches memorable, with carefully timed music and cuts.

Derrick was early to the venue to scout the area and make sure things were perfect for the guest arrivals. The music, from the ceremony, to the speeches, to the dancing was on point and perfectly curated.

Finally, Derrick was great helping out with the MC work for the event. He helped navigate the flow of the evening and kept things in order. We even had a few last minute requests and he was able to adapt and accommodate on the fly!
