We hired Bob Hawkins DJ service for our wedding at the beginning of August. From the very beginning, they were very professional and responsive to all of our communications. We always felt like our questions were answered quickly and that we were in good hands throughout the planning process.
One thing we especially appreciated, was the detailed questionnaire we were sent to make sure that they understood exactly what we wanted for our wedding day. It gave us the opportunity to share our music preferences, demonstrate the kind of atmosphere we wanted, request any songs, and helped remind us of all of the individual songs that needed to be picked for each important moment of the day.
We had such an amazing experience working with our specific DJ - Robert, and we could not recommend him more! He was very professional, easy to work with, and was accommodating to our timeline. Unfortunately, due to rain our outdoor ceremony was delayed - which then delayed everything else on the day. Robert was great at adjusting and going with the flow of things, while still making sure everything stayed on track. But, most importantly he kept the party going! The dance floor was full the entire night, the energy stayed high, and he knew exactly how to make sure everyone had a great time right up until the end. Robert did an amazing job reading the room, and keeping the music flowing. He also deserves a huge amount of credit for working around the outdated equipment provided by our venue. Despite having some less-than-ideal circumstances, he never let it affect the overall experience and made everything work seamlessly.
We are so grateful for the role Robert played in making our wedding day so fun and memorable! He was professional, flexible, and genuinely committed to making sure we had the celebration we envisioned. We had such a great time and would absolutely recommend him to any couple looking for a wedding DJ! -

Our DJ Bob did a fantastic job at our wedding - he got a good read on our personalities from the survey we filled out and he played violin/piano covers of video game and movie music during dinner and games. It was so perfect, our guests thought we had given him a list of our favourite songs!
During open dance floor, he played great hits that appealed to the wide age range of our audience. We had grandparents and young folks on the dance floor together, and the party-people stayed on the floor until 12am.
He was flexible when we made adjustments throughout the night (like asking for Jeopardy music during our game, playing our custom MP3 for first dance, etc.) and he helped our wedding run smoothly. Bob was very kind, patient, and a pleasure to work with.
I highly recommend BobHawkins for a wedding at Holland Marsh Wineries, though I'm positive the experience would be top-tier at any venue. -

Robert Hawkins was an amazing dj! Professional and friendly. He knew exactly when to change songs and was quick on things that changed during the event. The music was seamless and the volume was great, everyone loved it. His extra packages are also worth it, we got the audio guest book and loved it! Robert made sure to get mine and my husbands recordings to each other at the end of the day and it was such a treat to hear the next day.

We couldn't be happier with the experience we had with our DJ at our wedding! From the very beginning, they were professional, responsive, and truly committed to making our night unforgettable.
They took the time to understand our music preferences, and the playlist they curated was absolutely perfect. The transitions were seamless, the energy was just right from dinner through to the dance floor, and they read the crowd flawlessly. Every age group was up and dancing — even people we never expected to leave their seats!
The DJ also handled the ceremony music and our reception announcements with ease and professionalism. Everything ran smoothly and on time, and we never had to worry about a thing.
We’ve had so many guests comment on how amazing the music and atmosphere were — and that’s all thanks to our DJ. If you're looking for someone who is talented, fun, and incredibly easy to work with, we 100% recommend them.

We had a wonderful, stressfree experience with our DJ from Bobhawkins.com. DJ"Z" was on time, extremely friendly and kind to each and every one of guests who had an encounter with him. He supplied the perfect blend of pre-wedding music and dinner music that really set the mood for us in our outdoor venue. The dance music was also crafted together perfectly and requests were always met in a timely manner. The dancefloor was never empty all night! We highly recommend this company and will be telling all our friends who are planning parties in the future.
