Birdsong Entertainment is committed to enhancing the atmosphere at every event, giving their best through their performance and various services. Beginning with an in-depth consultation, these experts strive to understand each client’s vision and what their expectations are. By adhering to a strict one-event-per-day policy, Joel and his outfit ensure couples that all focus is solely on their wedding. Birdsong Entertainment provides all of its own professional equipment including sound systems, uplighting fixtures, and microphones. Disco balls can also be rented to add a retro ambiance to the dance floor.
Joel was so wonderful to deal with - right from the time of booking, and especially on the day of. He was very professional, easy to talk with, very fast at responding to questions and honestly such a great DJ. Everybody kept coming up and telling me how great he was. When guests would make requests, they said he was very easy to deal and very accommodating. He did NOT play "Old Town Road" so for that I LOVE HIM EVEN MORE!! haha
We would Highly recommend Joel/Birdsong for any event wanting to have great music and/or a great dance floor.

Joel DJ'd our wedding October 13th 2017 and he was such an awesome DJ!!! He really made our wedding day so much fun and was very professional! His online tools helped us plan the songs in advance and he was always very helpful and responsive throughout the entire process!! He also had a massive inventory of songs! He also helped us design a gobo and had the best uplighting to set the tone! I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants to throw a good party and have a reliable DJ for their wedding/event.

Great DJ for any occasion!
Joel was great to work with for my wedding! As the owner and DJ, he truly cares about making the experience one to remember. His website makes it very easy to plan all the music for each part of the wedding (Ceremony, introductions, dinner music, fun activities and the party). We gave him very general suggestions for dinner music, and he hit it out of the park! The guests were commenting on the music selection! The sound was perfect for the size of the room, and the lighting set up fit the atmosphere we were going for. I highly recommend Birdsong Entertainment!

Incredible DJ at an affordable price!
With a modest wedding budget, my husband and I were unsure at first if we wanted to invest in hiring a DJ for the day. When an alternative DJ fell through at the last minute, Joel was able to accommodate our request and we are SO thankful for his service on our wedding day. Joel arrived early, set up his equipment independently, and read the room to play appropriate music for the group. He was able to provide us with valuable insight from his precious experience and was incredibly flexible and adaptable. One huge advantage to Joel’s services was that he allowed us to create “do play” and “do not play” lists online, so we could make sure our favourite songs got people onto the dance floor. Joel was professional, polite, and super easy to work with. I would recommend him to anyone for their wedding day; you won’t have to worry about managing the music or dance floor - Joel has it covered!

Stag and doe, also our wedding day, and reception
Joel was excellent!
He is great at getting a crowd up and on the dance floor, and he has the ability to read a crowd to keep them up there!
Joel did three sites for us. He first did our stag and doe, to which he did an amazing job!
The other two sites, one was our wedding location. An outdoor event, and Joel did not disappoint! He arrived early to setup at our reception and also was early on site at the wedding location with his portable sound system. Both sites on the same day and he did an outstanding performance!
If we have any reason to have a sound system for a party we will definitely have him back!
A huge thanks to birdsong entertainment for helping us celebrate our day and making thing go smoothly!
