She listened carefully to our ideas and vision, and then helped us refine them with thoughtful suggestions we hadn’t even considered. Having actual items and fabric swatches on hand in her office made it so much easier to visualize everything, and she guided us toward choices that suited our style perfectly.

She even sourced a white carpet for our ceremony when it wasn’t something she normally carried, simply because she knew it was important to us. That kind of care and dedication made us feel so supported throughout the planning process.

On the day itself, her team was incredible. We only had one hour for set up before the ceremony, but they worked so efficiently and flawlessly that we didn’t have to worry about a thing. When the night wrapped up, they came back in and handled cleanup seamlessly.
The end result was a beautifully decorated space that truly reflected us and our vision board brought to life. We couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. Absolutely PERFECT decor, draping, lighting, flowers, ceremony and seating arrangements done by the Connections Events team! Christine was super helpful from the initial consultation, blending our complex vision into a stunning execution. We really had to trust the outcome and Christine took the time to discuss our ideas, show us options from the vast collection of colours, fabrics and flowers so that we were comfortable and excited about how the decor would tie in to our wedding theme. Christine helped us with our wedding reception decoration. From the first call my wife and I had with her, we could tell she is professional. She asked many many questions that need to be asked that we wouldn't have thought of on our own, and helped us come up with a plan for the wedding decoration. When some items were beyond our budget, she helped us find cheaper, yet good alternatives. Throughout the process, she seemed passionate about what she is doing as if she was planning her own wedding. On the day of the reception, everything was as we expected and we heard positive feedback about the decoration from our guests. Our reception ran a bit longer than we expected, but her team was flexible and waited for us before removing stuff from the venue. Overall, both my wife and I were happy with Christine and her team, and we would definitely recommend them to our family & friends.

We hired Connections Events for our October 2023 wedding and the team did an incredible job with making our vision come to life. Christine was a joy to work with and listened to all our requests/ideas. She was punctual and her team did not disappoint with execution. They have a wide variety of linens and decor items to choose from! Christine was able to incorporate our DIY decor seamlessly and applied draping to both of our halls at Van Dusen Gardens beautifully.
