Not Reliable for Large Events
We hired this catering vendor for a major wedding, and what happened was nothing short of unacceptable. Despite giving a confirmed headcount, more than one hundred guests were left without food. That is not a minor oversight. That is a complete collapse of basic catering standards.
During the event, the buffet emptied out rapidly and without control. Instead of monitoring the food stations, restocking properly, or managing portions responsibly, the catering team simply allowed the food to run out. Guests stood in line confused and embarrassed while entire dishes disappeared with no plan in place to handle it.
The explanation we received afterward made the situation even worse. We were told guests took “too many lamb pieces.” If a caterer cannot anticipate how people will eat a culturally familiar dish, they have no business handling weddings of this scale. Any experienced team should understand portioning patterns, adjust accordingly, and have safeguards in place. This excuse showed a shocking lack of preparation, awareness, and professionalism.
The fallout was enormous. The wedding program stalled, people skipped meals, families were upset, and many guests left hungry. Additional food was brought much later, but the damage was already done. The moment was lost, and the impression it left on everyone was extremely negative.
The communication afterward was just as disappointing. There was no real ownership of what happened, no proper acknowledgment of the scale of the failure, and the compensation offered was nowhere close to the level of impact. Instead of accountability, we received excuses and attempts to downplay what occurred.
If you are planning a wedding or any large event, I strongly urge you to think very carefully before choosing this caterer. Do not be persuaded by presentations, promises, or their placement on any venue’s preferred list. Our experience showed that none of that guarantees competence. When it mattered most, they did not deliver, and the consequences were felt by an entire hall full of guests.
For an event you can never redo, you deserve a team that knows what they are doing. Unfortunately, we did not get that here.
