Highly recommend

We hired Little Mushroom to cater our wedding reception and they did not disappoint. We did food stations which our guests loved and it made for a more relaxed reception, where people were mingling throughout.
Additionally, I would highly recommend hiring Erika as your day of coordinator. We absolutely could not have pulled off our day without her help. She eased our stress both leading up to and on the day of the wedding. She advocated for us, was efficient, and quick to respond to all our questions and last-minute changes. She was kind, easy to talk to, and clearly very passionate about weddings. I did not need to answer my phone on my day all because of her. Hiring Erika was the best money we spent on our wedding by far!

Like old friends

My husband and I couldn’t have had a better experience anywhere else. LMC offered suggestions and guidance without upselling, in fact pointing out where we could save! We were initially worried about our choice of venue being problematic. Erika at LMC assured us that they would be able to provide excellence! And did they ever the food got rave reviews from our family and friends!! Everything about our day went exactly as LMC said it would. Their timing was perfect and each hors d’oeuvres came out with only a slight pause between. It was perfection from beginning to end. All LMC employees were warm and friendly. We can’t say enough about how grateful we are for the experience of working with LMC !

Wonderful Wedding Experience!

We were so happy that we chose LMC! Erika was wonderful to deal with right from the start. She is so knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful.
When we arrived to our reception, the tables were set, the buffet was set up beautifully and the staff were so happy and sweet!! They treated us and our guests so well and did a great job packaging up leftovers and storing them safely in the fridge.
Everyone raved about the food - including the salads. My fave was the chicken in the red pepper sauce. Yumm!
Thank you for adding to our special day. We HIGHLY recommend LMC and their team for any occasion.

Disappointed Doesn't Even Cover It

Our wedding was short and sweet, clocking in at only 4 hours from start to finish and during that time, we encountered 9 issues; all of which Little Mushroom Catering were responsible for:

Hello brides & grooms!

In light of your upcoming nuptials I wanted to share a recent experience of mine to spread some caution when choosing your caterers: My wedding was on October 12th, 2022 and I hired Little Mushroom Catering to provide the brunch and bar service on my special day. Our wedding was short and sweet, clocking in at only 4 hours from start to finish and during that time, we encountered 9 issues; all of which Little Mushroom Catering were responsible for:

- No communication regarding table space/set up. You can see below what we asked for versus what we were served and it obviously did not meet expectations. The table was described aptly as “sparse” by both our coordinator and photographer.
- LMC requested a double wide table and ABSOLUTELY NO decor to accommodate all of the food. When I asked why the set up looked so bare, they blamed me for how big the tables were. (They are a preferred vendor for our venue so they were familiar with the table sizes prior to)
- There was no water service, despite us specifically requesting it as I did not want water jugs on the table.
- We were given mismatched water glasses when we paid for a uniform set.
- Staff were distracted and on their phones during service which delayed our cake-cutting time to the point that my Maid of Honour had to remind LMC staff to begin cutting.
- The bartender working our wedding entered my husband’s dressing room while he was getting changed and had to be removed by our photographer because he wouldn't leave.
- Unwelcoming bar service by the same bartender throughout our entire meal.
- No vendor meals despite paying for them. The solution was LMC suggesting that our vendors pick off of the table between our guests during our meal.
- LMC threw out all of our food despite me asking to have it boxed up. They have a food waiver form that is uneditable and so I called and specifically asked if this could be done and was assured that it would be. That was not the case.

It’s been nearly a year since our wedding and I have been corresponding regularly with Little Mushroom Catering to have this resolved as we simply did not get what we paid for. After practically begging to be compensated fairly, they reimbursed us $118.00 out of the thousands that we paid. I was threatened this past month with lawyers, the CEO, Stephanie saying not to even bother trying anymore and that this issue, “will easily be dismissed by any lawyer.” Because I paid for the services in full prior to the wedding (which was required in our contract).

I am beyond disappointed and would hate for any other bride or groom to experience this kind of heartache. Honestly, it makes me sad that this experience tainted our wedding day and that Little Mushroom Catering was unwilling to take responsibility, especially when I had been so patient throughout the whole process. I wouldn’t recommend them whatsoever and I hope that you choose more wisely than I did.

Very Dissapointing

After tasting my partner and I were so looking forward to having little mushroom as our caterers. But it was nothing but dissapointments. Not only did they not provide what we paid for (we had specifically asked for glutten free items and certain items to be vegan) so we could have an inclusive dinner which was #1 in importance to us. They did not provide meal boxes for our vendors or the us, the bride and groom, again as we had discussed. My partnet and I definitely feel as though we were cheated. $6000 for food that was minimal and not well put together. Shrimp skewers has 2 shrimp but we were charge 3.50 per skewer. When we emailed...

When we emailed after the wedding explaining our frustrations they offered only a simple sorry and $150 in refund. Its not about the money but it was very very insulting. Also what we experienced in the tasting for volume quantities is not what we received at the event.
The food was meant to be our highlight of the evening and instead many of our important guests couldnt eat and were left hungry. Our worst nightmare. I reccommend choosing a different vendor. Do not go with little mushroom or you will be dissapointed in their execution.

The food was amazing! Little Mushroom was easy to work with and we’re able to provide a delicious almost exclusively vegetarian menu. They were very accommodating for our guests with allergies and dietary concerns.
The rentals they provided were beautiful and set and tear down was perfect!
The whole team was great from the organizer to the wait staff, and the bar staff were super fun!

LMC catered our wedding and we were absolutely blown away by every part of the experience! Our wedding was initially booked in 2020, but we postponed until 2021 due to COVID. LMC was so understanding, accommodating, and encouraging as we our plans changed over and over again. All of the communication we had with LMC when planning and leading up to the wedding was professional, prompt, and organized. The staff were always happy to answer any questions we had (and we had many!). All of our guests raved about how good the food was! LMC's food is unbelievably delicious!! Every staff member at our wedding was polite, professional, attentive, and friendly. LMC was a huge part of what made our wedding so enjoyable for us and our guests. We cannot recommend LMC enough!!
