We had an excellent experience with Chef Michael Anderson and Bow Valley Gourmet for our wedding. From our very first meeting and the complimentary tasting, we knew we were in great hands. The tasting meal was superb and gave us complete confidence in our menu selection.
On our wedding day, Chef Michael and his team exceeded our expectations. The cocktail hour offerings, dinner service, and late-night snack options were all fantastic. Our guests were thoroughly impressed, and we received countless compliments on the food throughout the evening.
For dinner, we chose prime rib with puréed potatoes and steamed vegetables, and everything was cooked and presented beautifully.
We highly recommend Chef Michael Anderson and Bow Valley Gourmet to anyone looking for exceptional food, professionalism, and a memorable dining experience for their wedding or special event. -

We were so happy with our food and experience working with Bow Valley Gourmet! Mike the chef/owner was so great to work with. He’s very chill and accommodating. Lots of options to choose from and great portion sizes! We’re still dreaming of the garlic mashed potatoes they were that good! We added a late night snack and highly recommend the poutine bar, it was a hit with our guests!

Micheal and the staff at Bow Valley Gourmet were amazing to work with! Not only was the food amazing, but Micheal provided us with many options for a menu within our budget and he was always available to answer any questions. He was also very flexible with different dietary restrictions, which was amazing as I am severely lactose intolerant. We’d gone with the butternut squash ravioli, and it was a thoughtful touch that the ravioli was heart shaped for the wedding. Our guests loved the taste of the food, and the extra attention to detail that Bow Valley Gourmet provided!
I would strongly recommend Bow Valley Gourmet to anyone who’s looking for wedding catering! -

Mike and his team were truly amazing!! The service was second to none, the food was perfect even though the wedding party was late!

Mike was easy to talk to and professional. His team was fantastic all the guests couldn't stop talking about how delicious everything tasted. Mike made sure everything went smoothly and was so accommodating. Couldn't have asked for a better culinary experience on our special day! Thumbs up all around! -

Chef Mike is incredible to work with!
After two postponements and what seemed like a million emails back and forth, the food came out absolutely incredible!
He very efficient and the food came out hot and ready to be served!
He was very cautious with the Gluten Free recommendations I needed as well!
Our guests expressed how amazing the food was!
Mike is extremely transparent and professional as it was something I needed to make the decisions easier for our way!
He’s understanding and communicative!
I would absolutely recommend Chef Mike @ Bow Valley Gourmet a million times over!! -

Michael, the head chef for Bow Valley Gourmet was very informative and responsive to my emails. I really appreciated that he was always willing to answer my questions and work with us to get everything we wanted for our food experience. The food at our wedding was amazing and the presentation was also beautiful, we had a buffet with chicken and prime rib mains. We also has appetizers that were delicious and looked beautiful. We received many compliments regarding the food from our guests. We definitely recommend Bow Valley Gourmet for your catering needs!
