We had a wonderful experience working with Blair's Catering for our July wedding. Leading up to the day, Mark and Paulyn were very helpful, responsive and accommodating - they set-up a great tasting, fielded our many questions and menu changes, and were flexible as our guest count fluctuated with COVID. Day-of everything went extremely smoothly - the food was delicious and many people complimented how great the waitstaff were. The passed apps (including sliders and sweet potato fries!) and late-night grilled cheese bar were a particular hit. We would highly recommend Blair's as an awesome wedding caterer! -

Our wedding had been originally at a full service venue but after countless postponements, we decided to have a backyard garden wedding last minute. With only a month to plan, we found Blair's and were completely blown away right from the start. From their menus, full service planning options, amazing customer service and food tasting we knew they were it. They were always available for questions, suggestions and countless emails/calls back and forth and really delivered on the day of our event. Paulyn and Mark were amazing, their staff was incredible and really took care of us and our guests. It started pouring rain in the middle of our event and they had everything covered and reset under shelter within minutes. Our guests were, and are still raving about the food and service we received and we absolutely recommend them for anyone considering a top notch catering team. Thank you for making our day so seamless!! You guys are amazing and we will be coming back for any and all future events. -

We originally picked Blair's because they were a recommended vendor at the venue we had picked out, and then worked with them to accommodate all of the changes we had to make because of he pandemic. Mark was amazing, and they were so easy to work with! We went from a sit down dinner for 115, to a backyard bbq for 25 . The food was incredible and everyone raved about it. They were able to work within both our original budget, and the much smaller budget for the backyard ceremony we ended up having. -

Blair's catering really went above and beyond for our August 2019 wedding. The prices were great, and the food was DELICIOUS! Very big portions. Best chicken I've ever had!!! My guests (and us) were so happy and full! Even the taste testing was such a lovely experience. Also, when my husband and I were taking photos in the park after the ceremony, one of their staff members came and found us, and gave us food and water!!! Sooo thoughtful. I was so thoroughly impressed with Blair's catering!!! I will definitely use them again in the future. If you are thinking about booking with Blair's - do it!!! They are outstanding. You will not be disappointed. -

Wonderful Staff With A Completely Custom Menu
Mark and Paulyn were wonderful to work with from start to finish. We had wanted a menu that reflected the various cultures my partner and I grew up with, so we were looking for a fusion menu that incorporated Filipino, Quebecois, and Vietnamese dishes. It was hard to find a caterer willing and capable to do all these cuisines, but Blair's was up for the challenge (Paulyn's family is also Filipino).
From start to finish, Mark and Paulyn were responsive and professional. They always answered quickly and patiently, despite the NUMEROUS questions we had. On the day of the wedding, the staff went above and beyond to make our day happen. Even our guests noticed and commented how friendly and fun all the wait staff were, including the bartender they hired for our open bar. They even had the staff find and bring us appetizers during our wedding portraits, which was very thoughtful.
Our guests raved about the food, especially the late night grilled cheese bar. The only concern we had that night is that some of the dishes were very different from our trial. We had tasted a Quebecois maple roasted pork and apples dish which was my favourite dish during the trial, but it came out very different on the night of our wedding. The same thing can be said for our Vietnamese salad, which was amazing during the trial but only so-so on the wedding night. They were still delicious, but very different from what we had tasted.
Overall, we're so glad to have worked with Blair's especially since we get to support an independent and small business, too. Highly recommend! -

Blair's offered a very competitive price and the sample meals we tried were delicious with a great presentation. Mark and Paulyn were great to work with during the planning stages which made the process very smooth.
However, on the day of we were disappointed with what our guests were served. It seemed like there were a few shortcuts taken on the day of and what our guests got was not quite what we had agreed upon/sampled. Our jumbo pastry shrimp hors d'ouevres (which when we sampled was delicious and had great presentation) was just a regular cold shrimp ring on the day of. Our full plate presentation of the main course lacked some of the side items that were part of the sample dinner. This made the plate look empty and kind of cheap. The cut of prime rib we tried was a generous portion and delicious, while on the day of it was a thin, sad looking cut. Overall, we were disappointed (and embarrassed) that our meal was not what we had expected it to be and it seemed like some corners were cut at the last minute. I do want to give a rave review however for Blair's catering staff. They were beyond exceptional and many went out of their way to cater to the guests. We received many compliments about the service, including from my mom who said that several of the wait staff went above and beyond.
