Beautiful and delicious wedding cake and cupcakes.

Cherlynn is so talented at what she does! The wedding cake looked exactly as we wanted and it was delicious! As we were at church when she arrived at the venue, she arranged everything beautifully - it was picture perfect and delicious! Thank you Cherlynn, for the cake and for the wonderful experience!

Groom Cake

one year ago Cherlynn designed a cake for the groom based on a few inspiration photos and we couldn't have asked for a better outcome. Cake had a great texture and flavour and was enjoyed by everyone at our wedding.

SophistiCakes was a great company to deal with.

My husband and I were very happy we went with SophistiCakes to make our wedding cake and cupcakes last weekend Aug 19 2023. The wedding cake was strawberry champagne and cupcakes were chocolate peanut butter and salted caramel. She made our wedding cake exactly how I visioned it to be. Highly recommend this company.

Delicious and Beautiful!

Cannot recommend Sophisticakes enough! The cake and cupcakes we ordered for our wedding were a big hit and looked beautiful. Lisa was so great to work with and offers a wide variety of cake and icing flavours that make for some interesting (and delicious!) combinations

Perfect Cake/cupcakes!

Our wedding was just outside of Barrie ON. I had a vision of a small two tier cake + cupcakes from Pinterest for our wedding... turns out the Pinterest post was a Sophisticakes creation! Communication with Cherylnn was extremely smooth and the cake was delicious (and looked perfect). We didn't have a single cupcake left and got so many comments on how good they were from our guests!

Great price but could use more flavour

Honestly, Cherlynn was really great to work with. Her prices are great and she does offer a good amount of dessert variety. I just wished the flavour of the cakes were more intense. I love cake and dessert so maybe my expectation was a bit high. I did enjoy the cake enough and the guests also enjoyed. I think if cake is not a big priority for you but you still want a showstopper for your wedding, I would definitely look into hiring SophistiCakes for your wedding dessert.

Couldn't ask for better!

Rural Roots is A-plus in our books! Dianne is so easy to work with, provided exactly what we asked for! We just gave her our ideas and she created a floral backdrop for our wedding that was beyond our imagination. Her talent, professionalism, and easy going attitude was absolutely priceless!

Delicious and Beautiful

We are so happy that Cherlynn from SophistiCakes made our wedding cake. Cherlynn took our vision for a design and flavour, and captured it perfectly in our wedding cake. She delivered it to our venue, which took a huge stress off of our shoulders! The cake itself tasted amazing! It was so beautiful, I did not want to cut it. But after taking a bite, I was so happy I did! It was so light, but full of flavour. Highly highly recommend. Thank you so much, Cherlynn and SophistiCakes!
