My partner and I hosted our Engagement Party at the Bickford House, Guild Inn Estates and it was absolutely fantastic! The grounds were gorgeous and the food was delicious. Staff were extremely helpful and organized, ensuring our event ran smoothly. Our Events Details Manager Teja was amazing. She made planning so easy! She’s friendly and personable and was able to completely understand our vision and had no problem answering any of our questions. So many guests have said they will also be looking to have their future events here, and we will be sure to recommend them to others. It was all absolutely perfect! -

We recently had our wedding at the Guild Inn Estate and I can honestly say that we had a great experience. We had prompt responses when we first inquired about the location, it was an easy process to book our walk through, food tasting and any other visits we needed. Most importantly, our event manager, Priyanka, kept an open communication with us from the time we decided to book this venue to the date we got married. She really was accommodating and was really patient with our requests. Lastly, all the staff that worked on our actual wedding day was so kind! The one downside to booking this location for us was that because this venue books multiple weddings in one day, we found it difficult to take pictures where we wanted due to other weddings etc. -

What a an absolutely stunning venue to have a wedding!! When were looking at different venues for our wedding, we instantly noticed the large windows at the Guild Inn that brought so much light and life into the venue. It mat seem like an unimportant detail, but you'd be surprised how many venue we saw with small or even no windows. The venue is beautiful and gives you the option to control the available space as multiple rooms are connected by accordion dividers. Priyanka was our details manager and did a fantastic job answering our hundreds of questions and making sure every detail was taken care of. The food was delicious and the catering servic was fantastic. We also had access to a bridal suite which was very helpful. The park itself is absolutely beautiful and serene and is a great spot for a wedding photoshoot. I had a winter wedding and even though there was no snow on my wedding day, our photos still turned out amazing thanks to the beautiful landscape of the park. l absolutely recommend the beautiful Guild Inn and its extremely helpful staff.

We had the most incredible experience at Guild Inn for our wedding! Natalie was our Details Manager, and Silvana was our banquet manager, and I can not tell you how much effort and work they put in to make our day special. The venue itself was gorgeous, with a lot of our guests complimenting the park, the gazebo and the hall. The food was AMAZING - we still have family telling us how much they enjoyed the food and the portions, and quite a lot of them took pictures of the food to share online. Myself and my groom felt like we were taken care of all night with the service at dinner, with plates being brought to us, servers asking us if we'd like anything from the bar, etc. The night was impeccable, I would highly recommend booking the Guild Inn! -

It was a great experience choosing The Guild Inn as our wedding venue. Saying our vows amidst the beautifully landscaped gardens and unique architecture set the tone of our ceremony - classy and solemn. The greenery and architecture made a wonderful backdrop for all our wedding photos - think historical heritage surrounded by leaves changing color.
The food was a true delight! Our guests are still talking about how delicious it all was. We were able to accommodate our meals to cater to everybody’s special dietary requests.
But what truly made our day exceptional was the people at the Guild Inn. The staff didn't just provide a service; they were warm, considerate, and detail-oriented. Thanks to Silvana and her team. Their warmth, attention to detail, and genuine care made us feel well taken care of. Detail manager Priyanka had smooth and responsive communication throughout the process. We are still thrilled about having picked this venue!

My husband and I were lucky enough to have the most special day of our life at the Guild Inn Estate. It was better than we could have ever imagined. The beautiful grounds of the Guild Park & Gardens were out of a fairy tale. The entire facility was immaculate and breathtaking. We had our ceremony with a background of fall colours at the on-site Gazebo. My husband said:”seeing my wife walk down the aisle to the sounds of harp & cello will be a moment I will cherish forever. Surrounded by infrared heaters it was quite toasty on a brisk day in late October, which was something we were concerned about.
The reception hall is amazing. From tall ceilings, great lighting, and modern decor, not to mention the floor to ceiling windows looking directly at the park behind. The terrace was also a popular spot for guests to take photos under the hanging string lights. And the food!!!! From the tasty hors d’ouvres to the mains and the late night savoury and sweet poutine station (with double Nutella/gravy fountain) every single guest mentioned how good the food and service was.
But what made our night just perfect was the dedication and quality of the staff. The staff were excellent from the beginning of the process where Shelly helped us with packages and options. Our bartenders Judy & Mauricio made excellent cocktails, had rounds of drinks ready for us before we could ask, and were a ton of fun. They literally ran to get me a bottle of water when I asked for one. Our day-of-coordinator Beth, was by our side through out the day and ensured everything went off without a hitch. And we can’t thank our Events Details Manager, Téja, enough. From answering our millions of questions, some of which were asked more than once, to offering valuable and insightful recommendations during the planning stage.
Our wedding stuck to the schedule down to the minute. All thanks to the valiant efforts of the entire Guild Inn staff. From the tons of servers who made sure we had everything before we could even ask for it to the kitchen staff who prepared delicious meals that were never late or cold.
Yes the venue and ground are beautiful, yes the decor is modern and classy, yes there are hundreds of options for anything you can imagine… But what made our special day perfect was the dedication and quality of each and every staff member of the Guild Inn Estate. This is where you should have your special day!!! 🥂 -
