Dream Wedding - Iconic Venue
My husband and I could not have asked for a better experience for our wedding. Erastus and his team were incredible! We had several meetings to ensure our vision was possible and they are so flexible with menu options and packages based on what you want out of your day. On top of that, the space is beautiful! I highly recommend this place to any future couple looking for a gorgeous venue, helpful staff and great food! -

An absolute hidden gem to create lasting memories!
My wife and I got married at the Pie Eyed in June of 2024. From the beginning of planning the wedding, we never felt more cared for, looked after, and listened to than we were at this venue. The coordinator, Erastus Burley was an absolute joy to work with. Personable and accommodating doesn’t even scratch the surface with how amazing this man was for us. Every email was responded to promptly, requests were met, ideas were given and it made it all so enjoyable. Not in a million years did I think a wedding could actually go off without a hitch, but this team made that happen. The food was great, beer was even better and the staff was amazing. I couldn’t recommend this venue and Erastus more. If you’re looking for options, and accommodation, look no further. -

We love Pie Eyed Monk!
We absolutely loved having our wedding at Pie Eyed Monk! Erastus and the team helped to make our wedding day a dream come true, especially the late night wood fire oven pizza!
For us, booking our wedding and reception at the Pie Eyed Monk meant that we didn't need to coordinate between multiple venues and catering, as they were all in one. The customer service focus of the team at Pie Eyed Monk came through in all of our interactions with staff; from flexibility in our plans, to accessibility and dietary needs, and transparency and fairness in pricing, the team goes above and beyond. We also enjoyed that we could share our Spotify playlist with them to play over their sound system, rather than needing a DJ.
A key priority was having great quality food that could be adapted to different dietary needs, which Pie Eyed Monk managed perfectly. We enjoyed the food so much that we're going back to have dinner to celebrate our first anniversary and plan to make it a tradition.
Overall, we had a great experience and received feedback from our guests regarding the venue, staff, and food saying they did as well. We recommend this venue to everyone we know! -

Pie Eyed Monk was the absolute best venue! Planning was so easy, and they took care of everything! We held our reception in the hall, and then our guests were guided down to the restaurant bar for cocktails and apps while we went for photos and the staff rearranged the room for the reception. The food, drinks and service were all so amazing, and Erastus (the event manager) ensured everything went off without a hitch and exactly on time. There is a beautiful park nearby for photos and many photo op spots within the venue. There is also a newer hotel close by for guests. I couldn’t suggest this venue enough!! -

Highly recommend!
If you are looking for a beautiful space for your wedding look no further! We fell in love with the beautiful backdrop of the white brick, black arched windows and the black ceilings! So much that it became our wedding colour palette! The five star review doesn’t just stop at the aesthetics! From the initial meeting to the day of the wedding Erastus and his team ensured that not only did they understand our vision but they made it come to reality! They were so open to making sure that every little detail was exactly what we envisioned. From the decor, to the menu to the specialty drinks everything was perfect! We did add on the day of coordination and transportation which we highly recommend! Whatever you are looking for they work hard to accommodate your requests! The kitchen team not only made a delicious dinner but went above to accommodate allergies and vegetarian guests. Our vegetarian guests said that it was the best meal at a wedding that they ever had! Service was over the top and they always checked in with us to ensure everything was perfect! The extra spaces were the perfect backdrop for our inside pictures. Our wedding was the most amazing day and this space was the perfect venue for our ceremony and reception. Highly recommend the Pie Eyed Monk and the team to make your big day the best day ever! -

I cannot say enough good things about this venue and Erastus. From start to finish, we were constantly blown away with the level of service and accommodation. Erastus has a true talent and executed our day with such professionalism and care, we are so happy!
All staff were amazing. The setup and transition from ceremony to reception was flawless and exceeded our expectations beyond words. Walking into our reception, we were blown away as the staff and Erastus truly made our vision come to life, even better than it appeared in my mind!
The food was incredible, all of our guests raved about it. Alcohol service was professional and quick. We ran a tab instead of just doing open bar, which ended up costing us more but we had a lot of 20-30s aged people, which is something to consider when deciding how to do your bar.
I don’t have a single complaint from our day, it was perfect and I HIGHLY recommend this venue. The vibe and esthetics are warm and welcoming and the staff are so flexible with what you want. -

Beautiful historic wedding venue on a budget
My husband and I recently got married at the Pie Eyed Monk and it was the best decision we could have made. The general manager Erastus really worked with our budget (which was small!) and helped us have an amazing wedding with some really stellar food, and the venue itself and the staff were lovely. HIGHLY recommend. -

Ceremony & Reception
My husband and I had the pleasure of celebrating our wedding ceremony and reception at Pie Eyed Monk. Everything about this venue was absolutely perfect - from the staff, the food, the drinks, and just the overall aesthetic. It was a pleasure getting to work with Erastus and his team throughout the entire process of wedding planning and the day of. I highly recommend the Pie Eyed Monk for anyone looking for a stunning event space with excellent food and service. -
