Our experience with Orchard view has been great! They were super responsive and they helped plan things with me. Despite having changing our contact person, they stayed on top of everything we wanted and helped make our day a special one.
We found that they had a beautiful venue that needed very little additional decorations because of their natural look with flowers and landscaping. We also found that they had the biggest BANG for your buck with regards to prices of plates and what that included.
I would definitely recommend them & would not have changed a thing! -

The people at Orchardview were absolutely amazing! they went above and beyond to help with even the most minute details. all questions were answered quickly and they followed up with us at every step to make sure we were doing okay. On the day of, they helped set everything up and made suggestions for adjustments that really helped make a huge difference. They even helped deal with family drama and stepped into smooth everything over. I would recommend them 100x over. Thank you so much for everything you did! -

From the picture perfect scenery surrounding this venue, to the amazing people who work there, you will not be disappointed with booking Orchardview! Julia was incredible, helping us throughout the way, answering any questions we had, all the way to the day of she is so attentive to detail and absolutely wonderful! She made our day flow so smooth and stress-free, I can't thank you enough Julia and the whole Orchardview team for making our day the most perfect! -

Our wedding went so smoothly. The venue is beautiful and private. The staff were also incredibly kind and helpful. Julia was our day-of coordinator and I can't say enough about how helpful, caring and calm she was, she really made sure our day was perfect. I would definitely recommend this venue to any of my friends or family looking or an Ottawa wedding venue. -

Amazing location and service!
We picked this venue for our wedding and we had an excellent experience from beginning to end. The venue was very beautiful filled with flowers, lake view and trees. The wedding coordinators were very experienced and walked us through the entire process. They checked in with us for all the details during the planning and answered all of our questions. They ensured a smooth progression of events and were accommodating and had a variety of options to meet our needs. On the actual day, the coordinators were very helpful and coordinated very well with our vendors and regularly checked in to see if we needed anything. They made sure our day ran smoothly and despite thunderstorms they were very adaptive to sequence of the day’s events. -

This is going to sound less like a review, and more like a love story, as we have nothing but appreciation for the incredible service provided by Julia and Adam from Orchard View. Julia and Adam did everything in their power to accommodate us in the planning of our wedding day. We got engaged in August 2021, discovered Orchard View in September, and were married there in July of the following year. Though the 11 months of reviewing and considering details and options could have been daunting, it was made a breeze with the expertise of Adam and Julia.
We had the pleasure of attending the Taste Testing Day in March 2022, four months before our wedding, and that is when the realities and possibilities of getting married in this space came to life for us. While we loved the venue, that day we got to experience being wined and dined by the team, and it was so lovely. The food was delicious, the ambiance was so nice, and the kindness and attention to detail by the staff was exceptional. We were treated so well, despite being in a room full of people, and were confident that our guests would get a similar experience.
More details were confirmed over the months to come, and we applaud Julia and Adam for keeping calm in spite of all the moving pieces. We reconsidered our options several times, our guest count was constantly evolving as the pandemic restrictions tightened and released. They were so incredibly patient as we discussed how we could accommodate our friends and families, and made sure that we didn’t forget about each other in the midst of it.
The day of our wedding, we could not have hoped for better. They were able to make space for the bride and groom (us) to get ready and our entourage. They were supportive of our family, friends, photographer, DJ, and decorators. We remember seeing Julia helping set place cards along with the decoration team, while Adam weaved in and out of the kitchen and our wedding hall. They were clearly busy, but ALWAYS had time for us and for our last-minute questions. And they were always so calm. While the day had its stressors, none of it came from Orchard View or its staff. We lacked nothing, and they did everything that they could to ensure that our day was glorious. And it was.
Throughout the planning, it remained evident that Adam and Julia from Orchard View had our best intention in mind. For example, we had a lot of discussions with regards to drink options for the venue. While we wanted to be generous with our guests, we did not want to break the bank. Adam and Julia were both very much willing to examine options for us, and ultimately, we were able to find an arrangement that worked for all of us. The best honeymoon surprise was getting an email from Orchard View saying that we were going to be REIMBURSED because we saved so much on the bar tab. Adam and Julia are honest people, and vendors true to their word, truly looking out for us.
Now, we have been married for four months, and still look back on our wedding day fondly. While there have been several wedding planning lessons learned, getting married at Orchard View is one of the sweetest elements of our journey, and one that we would change. Huge thank you to Adam and Julia from Orchard View, as well as to all the staff that made our wedding day so precious. We wish you nothing but the best! -

They really worked with us to give us exactly what we wanted. They postponed our COVID wedding with no extra fees and even allowed us to use the property for a mini pre wedding vows ceremony with no extra charge. Beautiful venue and staff!!
