Having our wedding at Newlands was truly the best decision we made. From the very first message from our amazing wedding coordinator, Jessalyn, to the moments before walking down the aisle, everything was perfectly organized and seamless.
People often asked me in the months and days leading up to the wedding how stressed I was, and I could honestly say I wasn’t stressed at all. Newlands took all the stress away. Because everything is done in-house, all my husband and I had to do was make choices from the many wonderful options they provided.
The décor and florals were absolutely stunning. Lisa from the design studio brought my vision to life with such care and attention to detail. My bouquet and the centerpieces were beyond gorgeous.
Our DJ service coordinator, Linda, made planning the music fun and effortless. We selected our main songs for the ceremony and reception and created a playlist for dancing. The DJ completely nailed it and knew exactly how to keep the energy high and the dance floor full all night.
The food was delicious, with so many options that our guests loved. The late-night pizza snack was a huge hit and gave everyone a second wind to keep dancing.
A special thank you to Jessalyn, who was absolutely phenomenal throughout the entire planning process. She was prompt, organized, and reassuring every step of the way. We truly couldn’t have done it without her.
Budget-wise, Newlands is incredibly transparent and reasonable. Because they handle everything in-house, they make it easy to stay within your budget. They only show you options that fit your range, and there are no hidden fees. Everything was clearly laid out on the invoices, which made the entire process stress-free.
Overall, our wedding day was everything we dreamed of and more. Every guest had an amazing time, and we will cherish this day forever. Thank you, Newlands, for making our special day absolutely perfect.Newlands Golf & Country Club's reply:

To any couple who is looking for a venue, do NOT be fooled by the dated carpeting/floors. This venue was a dream! My husband and I got married in the conservatory room in October, and it was so magical!
The planning process was a breeze! We had Jessalyn as a coordinator, and she gets things DONE! In a very professional manner, but she is amazing at her job. She knows what she's doing, and we both really appreciated her responsiveness (always on top of her emails), her opinions, and her non-pushy demeanor. Planning and telling her our vision was truly about us, and what we wanted, and not about profit/upselling. TRULY an amazing Wedding Day of Coordinator. I wasn't a super picky bride, but when it comes to music I was extremely picky with the timing of when people walk to match the music, and Jessalyn and the DJ did an amazing job making everything perfect! My husband and I also made 2 gigantic seating chart signs (7ft tall, 2 ft wide), with giant wooden stands (to hold the sign up), and Jessalyn set them up for us during our ceremony, again she was amazing! If you're an organized bride, you'll make Jessalyn's job a lot easier to execute.
We organized our decorations into separate boxes, labelled the boxes, had a checklist of our DIY inventory, we also took pictures of how we wanted things set up (we set it up on our dining table, took a picture and put it in the box). We also highlighted which box goes on which table according to their floorplan to make set up a breeze for the team.
We were able to plan our wedding in 5 meetings! Yes you read that right, when Newlands said it, they definitely delivered on that. I believe the order went something like this:
1. Jessalyn
2. Photography
We got to talk about our vision, what kind of photo styles we liked, and we also picked our photographer (out of their list of photographers) this day as well.
They talk about potential add-ons if you wanted to add anything, and they mentioned what was included in their photography package.
3. Decorator/Florist
Lisa was PERFECTION. She knew her flowers, she understood our vision, and she made it work within our budget! My husband wanted a few add-ons, but we were very careful with our budget. Lisa was amazing and showed us a couple of different options to make our dreams come true. She had really great ideas!
We came prepared (the homework that was assigned to us) with a picture of our ideal flower colour scheme. She told us what flowers would be in season, and she made my bridal bouquet SO BEAUTIFULLY (and given, I'm not a flower person, but the colours were exactly what I had shown her).
4. Jessalyn (final review of food/plans)
We reviewed all our food decisions with Jessalyn, and we finalized our cake design, time line for the wedding, and our guest count
5. DJ/Music
We had some homework to pick out songs for the ceremony, and if we had any "must play" songs for the dancing portion of the evening.

We were also lucky to attend BOTH of the newlands tasting nights (we booked this venue over a year before we got married, so we were able to go to their fall tasting night, and their spring tasting night). It was such a fun event, and if you are able to you definitely SHOULD go! You get to see vendors that newlands works with (we saw a caricature, we saw many photobooths, videographer, etc.). It was just superb.
On our actual wedding day, we had someone who brought us all our food and drinks! Hira! Hira was the best!! I never met any of the other servers, but for us, Hira just read our minds! When we went outside to take some photos, we came back with 3 dinner plates of food PER PERSON! Wow!! We got to sit down and enjoy our meal!! Then we quickly went to take photos with each table, and I was thinking in the back of my mind that I really craved for dessert...when I came back? 3 PLATES OF DESSERTS EACH! Hira just read our minds and we absolutely loved his attentiveness, and his willingness to serve us that night!
We checked out a few other venues when we were wedding planning, but honestly, nothing could beat the price and what came with it. It was the easiest, stress-free wedding planning experience I had!!
We really hope you guys give Newlands a look and fall in love with the space and the team just like my husband and I did! Good luck to everyone and their planning process!! -

What an incredible evening!
Could not be more grateful to have the Newlands behind us and our big day! We cannot thank them enough for letting us essentially be guests on our wedding day and be able to focus entirely on having an extremely great time.
Charlene was incredibly communicative and timely for any and all questions or inquiries we might have had.
Our day-of coordinator, Paul, was super attentive and the day-of team never let us go hungry or thirsty, or without a check in when we had a question!
The DJ was FANTASTIC!! Kept the momentum going and blended the two sides so well!
Our photographer team and videographer (Michele, Ashley, and Ian) were SO great! Keeping the pacing up to ensure we got everything we needed, while being super flexible with which moments happened where. I am so looking forward to seeing the photos and video!
And boy did the ballroom ever look SPECTACULAR!!! It was all I could do by the end of the night to stand and soak it all in.
Everyone knocked it out of the park!!

The Most Magical Day
Newlands coordinates and organizes it all. They are quick to respond and have a comprehensive team that will quickly and easily design your dream wedding. The venue with the conservatory was a must-have, and as the sun set the twinkle lights make it even more magical.
If you have a chance to work with Sherri the head of photography, she knows the best spots (like Campbell Valley) for pics and is great at giving directions.
We asked for a special late-night snack of mac and cheese that wasn't on their menu and they happily obliged- we hope they make it a full-time addition!
The DJ knew exactly what to play and there was never a lull in the dance floor.
Lisa, the head of decor, organized a unique centrepiece for us and ordered the most amazing florals.
Our coordinator and host checked in often and had everything running smoothly.
I still get comments on how amazing the food was and how amazing the venue looked! -

The most dreamy wedding!
We recently had our wedding at Newlands Golf and Country Club, and honestly, it was everything we hoped for and more. From the very beginning, Charlene was an absolute rockstar, she kept us organized, calm, and excited through the whole process. She really knows what she’s doing and made sure every little detail was taken care of before we even had to ask.
What really stood out to us was how much Newlands handles for you. They take care of so many of the moving parts that it almost feels effortless on your end which took so much pressure off and let us actually enjoy being engaged and then fully present on the big day. They really are a well oiled machine!
The venue looked stunning, the food was amazing, and everything flowed so smoothly. We couldn’t stop smiling all day, and we’ve had so many guests tell us how impressed they were.

Our dream experience with less stress!
We really appreciated how the venue was all inclusive and took care of many details. The internal teams all coordinated well with each other and made a seamless experience. Our coordinator, Charlene, was a huge help from the very beginning until the day of. She answered all of our countless questions in a timely manner and was very reassuring when things could have been stressful. I’m so glad we picked Newlands for our wedding! We got married this September in the Conservatory ballroom. We had Patrick as our officiant, Jessalyn as our wedding coordinator and Michelle as our photographer. We couldn’t have asked for a better team! Our ceremony was so beautiful and the reception was the best night of our life. The team made the wedding planning process so seamless. Such a beautiful and amazing venue
The day went perfect and everyone who works there is so friendly!! The food is amazing even tho I was so overwhelmed from the day that I hardly ate! Everyone was sending me messages and calling me saying how amajng the salmon and prawns were!
Our only complaint was that we had to pay the $6.50 for the beef even for the kids who we knew wouldn’t touch it! And the beef was a little
Over cooked for our liking but I don’t know if that is because everyone I asked abut the beef was in the wedding party and we were served first.Newlands Golf & Country Club's reply:

Absolutely magical!
We are beyond happy and grateful for the team at Newlands Golf and Country Club! The whole process was so stress free and each member of their wedding team was absolutely amazing to work with. The value was outstanding and every department did an amazing job! Decor, flowers, food, music and service were flawless! We would definitely recommend them for a beautiful wedding experience!

The wedding of our dreams!
From someone who was on the fence about having a big wedding due to the stress of planning it, Newlands wedding team made it such an easy experience! Our coordinator was so kind and helped make the process of planning and the day of go so smoothly. The design team went above and beyond in making our decor dreams come to life, from the bouquets to the reception room, it was more perfect than we could have imagined! Lastly the food was Phenomenal, months later all of our guests are still talking about how it was some of the best food they have ever had at a wedding.Newlands Golf & Country Club's reply:
