Hazelmere was the ideal spot for our wedding reception! The Panorama room was a beautiful, large space (we had 180 guests) while still maintaining a rustic, lodge-like vibe that made the reception feel intimate. The outdoor greenspace was ideal for photos, getting fresh air and for kids to burn off some energy. Kendra was so helpful and knowledgeable about every step of planning & decorating. Staff was great to work with and keen to help us make our wedding day magical. The food was fantastic, which was a priority of us. Lots of options & flexibility. Would definitely recommend to couples looking for a beautiful wedding venue & down to earth, helpful coordinators to communicate with!Hazelmere Golf & Country Club's reply:

We got married on October 17, 2025.
When we walked in just under two years prior to our wedding we knew Hazelmere was the one for us. We loved their buffet package and ability to customize how we wanted the space to look. Luckily for us, the space is already beautiful and does not need a lot to make it look better. Anything additional will just make it look like YOURS! Also the lights dim, which I didn’t know until that day and it was a pleasant surprise.
We had 88 guests. We had the buffet, including prime rib and our guests said every single dish of food was delicious. We opted for the premium bar service with two drink tickets for each guest. All of our guests loved the easy parking, even with a small corporate event the same day. We were able to set up the afternoon before which saved so much stress since there was no wedding or event that day. I was never worried about what was going on behind the scenes as they knew what they were doing. At one point we were taking photos and my bridesmaids ordered fries for us since we were hungry and they were so amazing to bring it out to us.
We didn’t have our ceremony there but we were allowed to take pictures and it was so beautiful. The lawn space just outside the reception and the front sitting space made for beautiful fall photos. As our photographers described it “a perfect stars hallow day”. We could not have had a better venue. -

My wife and I initially planned on getting married in June 2025, and booked our reception venue with Hazelmere. However, due to a medical circumstance within the immediate family, to ensure the ability for them to witness and experience this special day, we opted to advance our timeline up to February. At this time, it was just under two weeks away.
We spoke to the amazing Hazelmere team (Karen, Hilary, and Julia - also shoutout to Kendra who worked with us initially, but went on Mat Leave), and they not only accommodated us, but worked extremely hard to make it happen with us.
Fast forward to the wedding day, and we received nothing but PRAISES from our guests. Beautiful venue, DELICIOUS food (and this is a MUST for big back Filipino families) and the staff were not only professional, but kind, quick, caring, and ON POINT. Julia was our coordinator, and she left us speechless throughout the whole process. She helped everything run so smoothly, and was our comfort during the anxiety of planning a wedding within two weeks.
If you're a couple looking for their reception and/or wedding venue, I can tell you this:
1. The food is by far the BEST wedding food in the Lower Mainland - I have been to many weddings and reception venues, and a lot of the food comes close to hospital cafeteria food. Hazelmere is FAR from it. Their menu is incredibly diverse, offer SO much value, and the flavour is just incredible.
2. The staff and the team give a damn. They care, they will go the extra mile, and they will certainly put love into the process for you.
3. Blank canvas - if rustic is your thing, working with the right decor company (in our sitch, we worked with Forevery Occasion who we LOVED and also RECOMMEND), will allow you to bring your vision to life.
4. Plenty of parking, open space on the green to take pics, and overall VERY photogenic venue.
If you choose Hazelmere, you will not regret your decision. I can truly say we got our dream wedding, and they were a large part in making our special day a massive success despite the timeline.

We had our wedding at Hazelmere Golf and Tennis Club on Saturday, October 5, 2024. When we first came to view the venue, we fell in love immediately with the Panorama Room. It has a beautiful rustic vibe. The staff and event coordinators (Sarah, Bethany and Kendra) were awesome to work with and are very detail-oriented and personable. They were quick to respond to any questions and they were awesome at offering assistance when needed. The only small hiccup was a bit of a lapse in communication when there was a transition of staff initially. The food was delicious and the servers were great. We would highly recommend them as your wedding go-to. -

I was amazed by the efforts the Hazelmere staff put in to make our wedding reception vision a reality. I had a lot of different floor plan ideas for the tables in the Panorama Room, and Karen graciously accepted the challenge to test them out before I finalized my guest list, then Kendra & Katie tested it again closer to the date to make sure the rest of the floor plan would work. Bethany & Sarah handled our final wedding details and they are so friendly, willing, and professional. We got so many compliments on the food (especially on their brisket, potato gratin, penne bolognese, candied salmon and poutine) and the venue's aesthetic overall, and our guests enjoyed taking photos around the private lawn. Thank you, Hazelmere, for providing the space and positive energy to celebrate such a special day! -

Sarah, Bethany and Kendra at Hazelmere were the most incredible event coordinators that made our special day perfect! They were attentive to all our needs, were very responsive when communicating, they brought the joy and calmness to the hectic day, and they were all just amazing, friendly, and professional. We were so happy with how everything turned out, from the set up of our ceremony, the food and bar selections for our reception, and the service that was provided from the beginning to the end. We wouldn’t have been able to pull off a successful wedding without their help so it was an honour and blessing to work alongside each of them. Hazelmere Golf and Tennis Club is a gorgeous venue with a wonderful team. The steam are extremely helpful and responsive. The venue itself is beautiful even with minimal decor.
