Even though we celebrated our wedding when the space was operating as Fairouz, the venue, layout, and many of the incredible staff are now part of Sussex & Co and the experience deserves to be shared.

We hosted an intimate wedding of 62 guests and wanted something formal but not stuffy, elegant but still fun and high energy. The team brought that vision to life flawlessly. From the very beginning, the events team worked closely with us to map out every detail of the food and flow of the evening. I wanted a seafood tower. My husband wanted a premium tequila bar. We had an oyster shucking station, caviar, and a strolling dinner that kept the energy moving all night. The food was exceptional and beautifully presented. Their wine selection was equally impressive, with options that complemented every palate at the table, from casual wine drinkers to true connoisseurs. We transformed the space into a Palm Springs inspired celebration with our vendors, and the venue’s New York steakhouse meets speakeasy vibe was the perfect backdrop.

The layout of the restaurant is one of its hidden strengths. We used the front bar area for our photo booth, which created a natural gathering space for guests, while the patio with its Moroccan lanterns and warm motifs complemented our aesthetic perfectly. It felt intentional and elevated without being over the top.

What truly sets this team apart is their level of care. Kate, the events coordinator, was extraordinary. She handled every detail of planning and on the wedding night she was everywhere at once. When I changed dresses halfway through the evening, when there was a brief DJ malfunction, when I was so busy talking to guests that I forgot to eat, she was right there. She literally ran around after me to make sure I had water and food in my hands. I was floored by the level of service and attentiveness. I felt genuinely looked after.

Tim, the GM, Tom and Tony behind the bar, Tony Garcia, Chef Shawn and his team, and every single member of the serving staff delivered beyond expectations. Professional, warm, calm under pressure, and fully invested in making our night unforgettable.

In terms of value for money, it was absolutely worth it. The quality of the food, the premium bar experience, the level of personalization, and the hands on support throughout the entire process made it feel like a true partnership. They worked with us to meet our budget while still delivering a high end experience for our guests.

We have since hosted additional events there and they have knocked it out of the park every single time. If you are looking for a venue that combines incredible food, stunning ambiance, and a team that treats your wedding like it is the only one that matters, Sussex & Co is it.
