The venue of our dreams. We booked Riverstone before we even saw it. Terry and Gerry are amazing to work with and their whole family team work hard to make the day flawless. They really enjoy what they do and the years of experience in helping couples celebrate really shows through every detail they think of. -

We booked Riverstone on the Crowe before my husband and I were even engaged. Knowing we wanted to get married soon, we were looking at different venues and gathering information on pricing, so we could ballpark our budget. I requested a wedding brochure on their website and I got a call from Gerri within about half hour of receiving it. We spoke with him for easily an hour and a half, chatting about their experience in the wedding industry, learning about their venue and what they offer. He was so clearly passionate and authentic about what they do, we booked a site visit for the next day. When we got there, we were met with the same warmth and passion from both Gerri and his wife Terry. Even though we saw the venue in the winter, we fell in love instantly with the place. The care and thoughtfulness they put into their venue was easy to see. We sat by a fire chatting with them about our vision for our day and felt positive this was the place for us. We left there knowing we didn’t need to look at any other venues, this was the place for us. We lucked out and managed to grab one of the last spots for 2025 and put a deposit down that day.
They have a custom made wedding planning portal with everything we needed to know, and they made themselves available to us by phone or email anytime for any questions or concerns we had throughout the planning process.
Our actual wedding day was a literal dream. Terry, Gerri and the staff at Riverstone on the Crowe took care of everything. From officiating, to MC and DJ, to Coordinator, we didn’t have to worry about a single thing. The day was beautiful, their property is stunning - we couldn’t have asked for a better day!!
Their care and focus wasn’t just on us as the couple, they made sure that all the guests have an enjoyable, memorable experience. We had a couple of guests with mobility issues and they had a golf cart on standby all day taking them wherever they needed to go at the venue.
They included so many brilliant, beautiful moments throughout the day: from the champagne toast (which they provided for us!), to the sparkler send off, Photo Booth and audio message guestbook (both of which were huge hits and still have us smiling), their creativity, experience and passion shines through every aspect of the day.
The property itself is absolutely gorgeous. It is clean, well maintained while being incredibly mindful of preserving the beauty of nature, and photos do not do it justice. It’s a magical little universe in the forest and the lighting throughout the property just enhances that romantic, whimsical feeling.
I could literally sing their praises all day! Terry and Gerri feel like family, and they were just as excited about our day as we were! We were sad to leave, but so happy we booked them. They are so down-to-earth, so very caring and passionate, and anyone lucky enough to book with them are in the best of hands!!

It was a great pleasure meeting this amazing couple yesterday. Me and my fiancé felt very welcomed. They’re very detailed and took a lot of time listening to our stories, concerns, suggestions, etc.
The place was so romantic and very beautiful.🤩
Definitely 💯 will recommend this to anyone. Definitely worth the drive to come and experience it 🥰 -

Gerri and Terri are incredible! Our wedding reflected that they love what they do. They think on their feet when things (inevitably) can go awry, and they came up with creative solutions for every worry we had. The backdrop - oh my goodness - the pictures are amazing, but they STILL don’t do it justice. Al Pettman lives right by the venue and we hired him as our photographer. He and his wife captured the day perfectly and they had a blast with it too! It was everything I’ve ever dreamed of and more for our wedding day. I have been trying to come up with the words to explain just how incredible they are and their venue - it’s impossible. Our dogs were in the wedding and at the reception, our first dance was a rick roll, we had a bunch of military and first responders with colourful language and our odd sense of humour - they embraced every idea we had without judgement, and gave us more ideas that meshed with our vision perfectly. A couple of examples:
- they suggested a sand ceremony for my husband, step son and I. It’s a great momento and was a beautiful part of the ceremony.
- Terry suggested using my veil as a backdrop for our sweetheart table - she is a genius!
- many, many more… this review would be a novel!
Our caterer was Dockside Bistro, they went off menu and provided a spectacular brunch for our guests. On top of all that - it was SO MUCH FUN!! The photobooth was a hit, the fire pit and the yard games were a blast. We hired FrostBites - a local family with an ice cream bike! Our guests are STILL talking about how much fun they had - some have said that it’s the best wedding they’ve ever attended. If you are looking for an outdoor venue with a fun, organized, limited stress planning process - you’ve found it. This is your sign! -

My dream wedding
I had my dream wedding at Riverstone on the Crowe this past August. Where do I begin? The venue is absolutely gorgeous. We tired the knot over looking the river, and it really couldn't have been any more perfect. It's the perfect combination of being in nature, with nice tall trees around you, while also looking very high end. The pictures will show that!
Gerri and Terry really went above and beyond my expectations, and made sure our day was everything we wanted it to be. The ceremony was very classy and professional, and the reception was an absolute blast. The catering they recommended for our dinner was great, and we all enjoyed the dinner and dancing under a high end ballroom style tent.
They included many small details like a photo booth during the reception, and the firework walk down the steps from the chapel which was one of my favorite parts.
If you are looking for an outdoor wedding, but also want it to look classy, Riverstone on the Crowe is the perfect venue for you. -

Attention to detail, personalized service, very responsive and kind owners and operators of this marriage venue. It truly is the perfect setting for a memorable wedding. It was a full 7 hour package which was an amazing value for my son and daughter-in-law’s dream wedding. -

Trish Sent on 07/10/2022Such an amazing experience at Riverstone on the Crowe
From the very beginning, Terry and Gerri were super helpful. I wrote a message looking for information on the venue and they were right on the ball, calling me a couple hours later. We fell in love with the property on our first visit. Terry and Gerri were very personable and friendly to interact with and knew what they were doing which was helpful since we did not!
We were able to set up the night before, however there were a few things we were supposed to put together the day of, but ran late and weren't able to. When I arrived it was all set up thanks to Terry and Gerri. For our ceremony, Gerri officiated our marriage while Terry played the ceremony music. It was perfect and on point!
During the reception, we realized we had forgotten little things like cake plates! Terry assured me it would be fine as I started to stress. She went to her home and gathered some styrofoam plates and started handing out pieces of cake like it was planned that way.
The photo booth was a big hit with our guests. It was great having so many fun photos to bring home with us to remember the day while we wait for professional photos.
We had 50 people, maxing out the number of people and they handled it with ease. The seating in the tent was a bit tight with so many people so I would recommend only 4 or 5 tables to allow more room for walking (we had 6). The tent was absolutely stunning though and it worked so well with our décor.
I would 100% recommend Terry and Gerri at Riverstone on the Crowe. It was a magical experience and I am so happy we were able to tie the knot with these two on our team. -

We had a fantastic experience with Terry and Gerri at Riverstone on the Crowe. They were super supportive and encouraging throughout the whole planning process and worked so incredibly hard to ensure that we had the absolute best wedding day. The venue itself is gorgeous, outdoors, and right next to the Crowe River. There are lights hung through the trees that make the whole place look like an enchanted grove in a forest. Loved the photo booth and the music and the ceremony itself was perfect and expertly done. Gerri and Terry offered a lot of flexibility and were able to help with many of the logistical issues one experiences when planning a wedding. Thank you again for all of your hard work you two! -

We were lucky enough to be one of the first couples to get married at Riverstone on the Crowe. While the venue is fairly new, the owners Terry and Gerri have a WEALTH of experience with weddings and made sure everything from perfect from booking all the way to the day of the wedding. The venue is absolutely stunning - rustic but with all the amenities you need. If you are looking for an outdoor micro wedding venue, this is the place to pick. Terry and Gerri go out of their way to make sure that everything goes smoothly and that the bride and groom and their families and friends have a perfect day. Could not speak more highly about the venue or Terry and Gerri. There will be many wonderful weddings to come at Riverstone on the Crowe. -
