Loved working with the Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory team for our brunch wedding!
This venue is amazing. It was the first location we looked at and we were sold on the spot. My husband and I had wanted a small brunch style wedding that was low-key and unique and what is more unique than butterflies flying around everywhere!
The ceremony and brunch was lovely and we had so many compliments from our friends and family.
The Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory team was the BEST. They answered my bazillion questions with ease and helped us setup everything and even fluffs your dress for you before you walk down the aisle! JUST SUPER!
Thank you again! It was the perfect wedding!

Amazing wedding team
Our wedding was nothing short of amazing. This was due to the overwhelmingly amazing wedding team. They were so friendly and helpful. They were supportive, caring and so easy to talk and work with. They made all of our whises come true. They set up everything perfectly. The food was out of this world. The servers and the staff were incredible at thier jobs helping us and our guests. We had a masquerade ball wedding and the staff even wore masks to join in on the fun. We would love to thank all of you again from the bottom of our hearts for making our day the best possible. The team was incredible in both planning the wedding and on the actual wedding day. They answered questions promptly and were very understanding and helpful, which is a god send considering I, like most brides, had never planned a wedding before! They had comprehensive documents for for things like getting an SOP permit, information I still had to provide, or the venue set up. This made the planning process really intuitive and easy for us. The day itself was very organized so I didn't have to think about much except enjoying the day! Staff was all incredibly friendly and really cared, even about small details like what our favourites drinks are so they could deliver it to us after the ceremony.
The venue is obviously gorgeous. When the cafe and lobby were decorated for the reception it looked beautiful, formal, and very professional. The conservatory area was of course perfect for a ceremony and a highlight of the venue. We got several compliments from family and friends already.
Price wise, the venue is cheaper than most other venue's we looked at while still providing high quality service and a visually stunning ceremony.

Honestly struggling to articulate how special this evening was, thanks to the Conservatory.
To start pragmatically (and let's face it, this is where we all kinda have to start when planning our dream day), the pricing is EXTREMELY fair for what you get!
The weddings team is PROFOUNDLY knowledgeable. It is clear that they have done their research and are selective with their recommendations. They went above and beyond to ensure that we understood everything and that they were answering questions we hadn't even asked ourselves yet. They made the whole planning process soooo easy. They were so quick to answer emails, and while it wasn't necessarily the same person every time, we knew we were in good hands. It is clear that this team works well together and communicates with each other behind the scenes. They are VERY organized.
The venue itself is stunning, magical, enchanting... truly the tropical outdoor destination wedding of our dreams without the weather-related panic of an actual outdoor wedding or having to travel far. We were all surprised at how lively the butterflies, birds, and turtles in the greenhouse were well into the evening (and we all appreciated being able to revisit the greenhouse at any point during the night). The foyer is colourful, clean, and bright, and there are galleries of terrariums and pinned bugs for guests to peruse during the evening as well. We had many people mention that they were surprised and delighted that there was "something to do" in between the ceremony and reception. Our introverted friends were happy to hang out in a quieter space and recharge when needed.
The food was delicious! We had many folks with dietary restrictions, and the Conservatory was so flexible when it came to making the menu work for us and our guests. Folks appreciated not feeling othered for having allergies, and everyone felt safe eating the meals provided.
They are also very conscious of accessibility. My sister has complex disabilities, and the weddings team were so eager to learn how they could accommodate her. She has limited safe foods, and we had offered to bring in her meal separately, but they were able to provide her with her meal instead. She was so excited! It is not often that restaurants and caterers are willing to accommodate her needs. This was huge for all of us!
Overall, we are forever thankful for the Conservatory for making this celebration of our relationship so special. My husband and I remarked halfway through the evening that we almost felt like guests at our own wedding — it was without that "white knuckles" stress that comes from hosting an event, and this is hugely because of the work that the Conservatory as a whole puts in. We are thankful for the weddings team, as well as everyone even further behind the scenes (such as horticulture team, landscapers, maintenance) who clearly have so much love for what they do.
We are still getting (unprompted) compliments from our friends and family who were able to attend our special evening. Everyone enjoyed the venue and it's offerings, the food, and were impressed by the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. Our guests are eager to return on their own time (I believe a few have purchased memberships since our wedding). We had such a great time that we'd do it again if we could! -
