Facilities and Capacity

Couples are free to officially tie the knot at Palais Royale's 4,000 square-foot courtyard patio. Boasting two tiers, it can host a total of 318 people. Affording everyone the chance to look out across Lake Ontario, it oozes a peaceful ambience for an iconic moment. When arranged with white chairs either side of a makeshift aisle, and decorated with blooming florals, it is fitting of the occasion. Alternatively, if the weather is not cooperating, the wedding party can assemble indoors to watch as the happy couple say their vows and swap rings. The to-be-weds can stand in front of a warm fireplace as their invitees take their places on the Chiavari-style chairs. Once the couple have been officially pronounced as married, the wedding party can drift towards one of the many function areas available. The Parlour can accommodate approximately 150 people for the cocktail reception, and it makes for a laid-back setting with its muted color scheme and lounge furniture. Of course, the Courtyard Patio can also be rearranged to host al fresco hors d’oeuvres or pre-meal drinks. Other event spaces to explore include the Green Room, Lower Lounge, and Red Room.

The Ballroom is where you and your guests can retreat to for a memorable dining experience. In terms of capacity, 350 people can enjoy a sit-down meal here when the dance floor is free, or 400 if the space is laid out fully with tables. For a stand-up reception, 880 can easily fit here. Tables and chairs can be set out for added comfort, while lounge furniture may also be supplied. A large and graceful space, it would be ideal for speeches and toasts to take place.
