The Wedding Venue of Dreams!
I can’t thank Graydon hall and their staff enough for the perfect wedding they gave us. Thy work tirelessly to make sure you have the wedding of your dreams. I have to say a particular thank you to Kim, who took care of absolutely everything for us with so much patience and kindness! An amazing event venue!
I have nothing but great things to say about Graydon Hall Manor. First off, it's a beautiful venue, no matter the season. Secondly, the staff is extremely professional, kind, patient, and flexible with all of your questions and requests. Thirdly, the food is amazing. We got so many compliments on the night of and after about the food. Another great benefit is that it's a one-stop shop: you can have the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception there and they take care of everything. Once we booked this venue, wedding planning became a LOT easier. If you choose to host your event here, you won't be disappointed. -

September 2024 GHM: would not recommend
I got married at Graydon Hall in September 2024, and after reflecting on the experience, I feel ready to share an honest review.
While the venue itself is stunning, I unfortunately cannot recommend Graydon Hall as a wedding venue. The overall experience left much to be desired.
Our initial meeting with the coordinator was promising, but things quickly went downhill. We were informed, somewhat casually, that our coordinator had changed, and the replacement was relatively inexperienced. Given that my wedding had 190 guests, I was uncomfortable with someone who hadn’t managed an event of that size. When we voiced our concerns to upper management, their response was dismissive and, frankly, rude.
One of the biggest issues was the lack of adequate support from Graydon Hall. Their third-party catering team was inefficient and struggled with setup and timing. Unfortunately, our coordinator was hardly visible throughout the evening, leaving my planner to handle most of the logistical issues. If you choose Graydon Hall, I strongly recommend hiring a separate wedding planner or day-of coordinator, as the Graydon Hall team offers little support. Additionally, make sure to clarify all bylaws in advance—such as the restriction on using microphones in the ceremony gardens, which we were not informed about.
Although we were fortunate with beautiful weather, I can’t help but feel that had the weather not cooperated, the day would have been even more stressful.
On a positive note, our guests were impressed with the venue, and the food was fantastic. However, the lack of support and behind-the-scenes issues were significant enough that I would not recommend Graydon Hall as a wedding venue.

Regarding your request for a Senior Event Manager, we completely understand the importance of having an experienced professional oversee the details. At the time of your event, three of our four Senior Event Managers were on maternity leave. We always do our best to accommodate client preferences, but certain staffing limitations are beyond our control, and we appreciate your understanding. That said, the Event Manager assigned to your event was experienced and worked under the direct supervision of our Director and General Manager. Rest assured, all our Event Managers operate under senior guidance to ensure seamless planning and execution, regardless of whom you are paired with. Our priority is to provide consistent, high-quality service across our team to make every event a success. While you may not have always seen your Event Manager throughout the day, she was diligently working behind the scenes—coordinating logistics, communicating with the kitchen, and ensuring staff and vendors were aligned with the event timeline. Our Event Managers often handle critical details out of sight to keep everything running smoothly.
We also recognize that your friend Michelle took on the role of planner for this event, and as this was her first experience in that capacity, we wanted to provide additional support. After receiving multiple guest complaints regarding her demeanor, we assigned a senior team member to assist her and oversee the remainder of the evening.
In terms of catering, I’d like to confirm that Couture Cuisine is our exclusive in-house catering company, and we only outsourced the Kosher meals to a third-party service provider. (It might be confusing that our in-house catering has a name, but that’s because we also cater events off Graydon Hall property.)
Lastly, all noise restrictions are outlined in Clause 25 of your contract, which states: “The Client agrees and covenants to not use or permit any amplified music or microphone/public address systems outdoors and to bring all musical entertainment inside the manor building no later than 10:00 PM.” This policy is enforced consistently to comply with zoning bylaws.
I’m truly sorry that you felt you didn’t receive the level of support you were expecting. We take great pride in exceeding expectations. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us improve, and we sincerely appreciate you sharing your experience. Best venue in Canada!
One of the best venues in the world continues to thrill with amazing food, great service, and incredible staff.

Romantic, Beautiful & Stunning
I just had my wedding here 12 days ago. The venue is beautiful itself so I didn’t have to go crazy with decor. I loved my wedding. It was during the week during brunch & all of my guests had a blast! Recommend this venue 100%. It’s super romantic and beautiful.Graydon Hall Manor's reply:

Spend your money elsewhere
I am extremely disappointed with GHM. I submitted a form online that indicated the size of our party and yet, after 30 emails and an entire MONTH of back and forth communication they told me this week they couldn’t accommodate our wedding because we didn’t have enough guests. This was something they could have told us from the start, since we provided them this information.
Early on they told us the date we wanted was available. To which I asked “how can we proceed to book this and put a deposit down?” After over a week of attempting to pull information out of them we asked for a call. We finally had our call, and were informed they booked another event on the date we wanted. We asked what other dates they had available and they told us September 6th. We wanted a guarantee this time that they wouldn’t give our date away as we were obviously serious and basically begging them to take our money at this point. We booked a tour of the facility for a Monday, however on the Friday close to the end of the business day they informed us they booked an event on the Monday and had to cancel our tour. Absolutely no response or care in the world on their end to try and reschedule with us. They don’t care about your time or your event whatsoever.
We lost an entire month of planning our wedding because of their incompetence. We explained how unhappy we were and their only resolution was “sorry for the inconvenience” and they didn’t respond after this. This is not professional and I expected so much more from GHM. Considering they market themselves as a luxury venue they should be deeply embarrassed by their ineptness. The gardens and venue are gorgeous, no doubt, but the way they treat potential paying customers is disgusting. As we already told them - thank you for less than nothing.Graydon Hall Manor's reply:

The Sales Coordinator you were communicating with is (obviously) quite new as a result of the many lay-offs and new hires required as a result the pandemic. You have revealed a gap in our training as we simply don’t train our staff to take calls for 11 guests. In the months that our Sales Coordinator has been with Graydon Hall, he has not encountered such a request. Lesson learned - I'm only sorry it was at your expense.

The most incredible venue in Toronto!
Graydon Hall did an absolutely amazing job with our wedding. The food was absolutely incredible (everyone cleaned their plates!), the drinks were fantastic, and the servers were very attentive. Amazing wait staff
We booked Graydon Hall Manor back in 2019 because it fit my vision of a fairytale wedding but unfortunately with COVID, there were bumps in the road which changed my opinion of Graydon but luckily, our wedding still ended successfully as Graydon managed to make up for it with their amazing waitstaff. Our COVID experience with Graydon was definitely less than desirable because we changed event coordinators 3 times and finally, the last one was the most professional and addressed our concerns which have been lingering since 2021. There was a lot of misunderstandings and confusion back and forth but I'm glad that they were all resolved in the end. A big thank you to Rebecca for assisting us with a wonderful execution of the wedding. Thank you to Mango and James for leading the team and providing impeccable service to our guests. Thank you to Graydon for giving us the wedding experience that we were expecting in 2019 even with COVID happening.Graydon Hall Manor's reply:

We understand your frustration in having to change Event Managers; it is our goal to have clients work with one Event Manager throughout their booking, planning, and execution process, although this isn’t always possible. Unfortunately due to the pandemic and constant lockdowns imposed on event venues, GHM had to furlough many team members and keep on only a small number of employees before being able to rehire again.
This pandemic has been very difficult for everyone including our clients and employees, but we are thrilled to hear that you still had a wonderful experience on your wedding day and GHM was able to deliver impeccable service to you and your guests!

Disappointing and Frustrating
The venue is gorgeous and the waitstaff were amazing but the management team made the experience of planning a wedding unreasonably stressful. Responses to emails were slow and confusing. Specific and direct questions were left unanswered and details that seemed part of the original quoted price were additional charges.. You will be told everything will be fine even when it does not match your vision at all - it's frustrating. Throughout the process I didn’t feel like I was being listened to or heard. I will say in the end, my wedding was beautiful and my guests had a wonderful time, but I don’t think I’d host an event here again.
The manager did call me after hearing how disappointed I was with the experience and let me voice my frustrations, which was appreciated.
