Facilities and Capacity
While Angus Glen Golf Club is a large venue with ample event space, it is also adaptable enough to host intimate gatherings. For the ceremony, those who would like to enjoy an “I do” event in the Marquee Tent can join together with their nearest and dearest. Alternatively, garden parasols can be arranged for the wedding party to sit under on sunny days for an open-air experience. The Kennedy Loft would also be ideal for this magical moment with its Chiavari-style chairs, chandeliers, and arched windows. With the couple officially married, the wedding party can make their way to savor the reception revelries.
The Great Hall is undoubtedly the largest area available for hosting the all-important meal, as it can accommodate 500 people for a seated dinner. Space for a dance floor can also be set aside as the party gets into full swing towards the evening. Natural light floods in here through stained-glass features, while it also offers a view of the golf course. Elgin Hall boasts high ceilings, contemporary touches, and an inviting appeal. Up to 25 guests can sit here for the reception, while people can dance the night away in style on the expansive dance floor. The A.W Stollery Boardroom, Victoria Room, the Furyk Room, Mackenzie Hall, and the Sorenstam Room are also available.
To complement the look and feel of Angus Glen Golf Club, a range of features can be offered. Staff are happy to welcome the couple’s chosen vendors on site so that the ideal experience can be created. A selection of wedding packages can be opted for, including the Silver and Gold offerings. Clients can arrange a ceremony rehearsal at the venue, avail of linens, benefit from setup and takedown, and enjoy the guidance of a ceremony coordinator. Audiovisual equipment such as televisions and projectors can be furnished for added convenience.
Angus Glen Golf Club’s partnered caterers can supply couples and guests with culinary delights and varied beverages. Servers can treat guests to plated meals, hors d’oeuvres, and more. We worked with a fabulous wedding coordinator, Christy Field, who was a total lifesaver and made our day run flawlessly. She was so positive and fun and handled all of our questions quickly and thoroughly. I got the sense that she really cared about us and our day and I trusted her opinions and suggestions. She provided a structure to keep us organized and made sure everything was ready well ahead of time. On the night of the rehearsal, she organized everyone and carried out everything I wanted, leaving me to enjoy the night stress-free. The day of the wedding went so smoothly. When I arrived everything was perfect and I could truly enjoy the experience. I’m sure she worked so hard behind the scenes to make it all run smoothly. THANK YOU Christy!!!
The venue at Angus Glen is outstanding. We got married in the Marquee and it looked amazing with the clean white walls and garden views. Our pictures look so beautiful. One of my favourite parts was escaping with my husband and photographers on a golf cart to take pictures around the grounds. Angus Glen staff accompanied us with hors d’oeuvres and beer! It was a fun and relaxing time between my new husband and I that I am so thankful for.
The Great Hall was very large and spacious. It looked fabulous when all decorated. The meal was excellent and so many of our guests commented to us on how it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had. We had a choice of steak, salmon, and chicken. They were all delicious but we got the most comments on how the steak was “restaurant quality.”

My contact was Vibianna, and she was wonderful. She is super helpful, and responsive. The venue and everything in general there is great and accomodating. It is not cheap to host a wedding there, but it is beautiful. You just have to find all the vendors for yourself since they really only provide to you the venue, and food..
